1. ALABAMA

Mike DuBose took over at Alabama after a successful run by Gene Stallings, but the program recorded only two bowl appearances under his watch. The highlight of DuBose’s tenure was a 10-3 record in 1999 but that year also brought plenty of controversy. Alabama booster Logan Young paid Means’ high school coach to have the top recruit join the Crimson Tide, which brought on an extensive hit from the NCAA. Alabama was banned for two years from postseason play and were forced to reduce 21 scholarships. This incident wasn’t the only one in recent years for the Crimson Tide, as the program was forced to vacate 21 wins from 2005-07 as a result of a textbook scandal.

Shocking. Alabama would be #1 whether listed alphabetically or otherwise. Where do you think Kirby Smart learned it?

Did these retards forget that Stallings cost the program every win for the 1993 season for playing a player that had signed with a agent ? they also lost 25 ships

With NIL and other shite coming down the pipe, this stat is no longer relevant. There's a reason why you haven't been able to find a newer article than this. No one cares anymore.

The NCAA doesn’t issue or have the ability to take away football National Championships. They can vacate wins. Trophy stays.

Unethical ...

... Penn State has always pissed me off since the whole Sandusky / Paterno / Don't Let Your Kids Travel With the Team to a Bowl Game crap. The most awful shite I've ever seen related to college sports.

Unless maybe you look at Baylor, where the coach conspired with the players to hide a murder and a bunch of rapes. In both cases - schools that claimed and still do to "do it the right way".

Compared to that ? SMU delivering bags of cash seems like what it was ... capitalism in action.
