LSU's brand at the moment is second to none. LSU is everywhere.
Football coming off of an SEC Championship appearance and an absolute annihilation on NYD in year 1 of a complete rebuild. Arguably the 3 best players in the league right now. Burrow, Chase & Jefferson. Jefferson winning an ESPY for best play of the year.
Women's Basketball National Championship. Reese and Flau'jae are everywhere. Reese winning breakout athlete of the year. LSU pulling Van Lith from UL. Mulkey is a monster.
Livvy is all over the place promoting the LSU BRAND.
Baseball. I don't think you even want to get into that. National championship #7. Leaving the shorthorns in the dust to hold onto #3 by themselves. First time ever a single team has the #1 and #2 picks in the draft. Those 2 just happened to sign the 2 biggest contract bonuses in MLB history as well.

Two thoughts. First this is exactly the arrogance and mind set of the Texas fan base that has destroyed every conference they have ever been a part of. Secondly, giving the devil it’s due,Texas is one of only about four national brands. Everyone in the country knows who the longhorns are. They have a top three tshirt fan base for sure. In 2022 Texas athletic revenues were $239,000,000+ netting about $14,000,000. For comparison LSU total athletic revenue was a bit over $199,000,000 netting half as much at $7,000,000. LSU is at best a parochial fan base. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…the addition of Texas and OU to the SEC will come at the expense of LSU. Enjoy 2023, LSU, it’s your last hoorah.
