Sounds like something they’d put out publicly knowing Texas would decline.
It serves Texas or A&M no benefit to play Texas Tech. It’s why Ole Miss refuses to play Southern Miss in football. There’s literally nothing to be gained from it

Can you link the article? B/c that's what was put out on the vine in various media last week..that got back to me...definitely used the term our 2s or 3s. Full disclosure, I have hated greedy a$$ texa$$ since you dill weeds had ol deloss doss trying to shylock the BIGXII for yourselves....so I'll let you guess the number of f^ks i actually give about the matter, as EVERYONE agrees with the sentiment of the statement. I say all that, to say this...get me the link...I'll post the correction....

He wasn’t taking a shot at Tech.. he was saying that SoS should matter.. and that he thinks his 2’s and 3’s could beat Tech’s schedule..

Never schedule the techtards unless you are okay dealing with a fanbase that throws batteries at the other fanbase.
Don't blame longhorns for wanting nothing to do with them. And all Sark said was that longhorns could easily win all the games on techtards conference schedule which is 100% true.

I hope this is just posturing/signaling to the networks and I would be very disappointed if we actually do cancel.
That said, why the hell shouldn't we cancel under the current system? If we had played Rice instead of Ohio State last season, we're in the playoffs. Zero reason to play big OOC games, especially with a 9 game conference schedule.
