Based on past history, this is exactly when OU would beat TX.
1. When they are supposed to be pretty decent.
2. We also have team that (on paper) should beat them.
But what do we really know about the teams yet? Enough to not talk shite this early.
Just look at 2023. I think it will be a pretty good game but not discounting the sooners at all.

Arkansas has the best team by far. Would be a serious choke job (even worse than Tx UTSA) if they don't win it all. LSU is a paper tiger this year.

You are not wrong. In the big team sports, the girls have helped TX to the Directors Cup championship 3 out of the last 4 years. If the men could get on their level, look out.

Documentary on Texas BBQ

I know we have a lot of Texans on this board. This is a pretty good documentary on Texas BBQ with a focus on Lockhart, the Texas Monthly top 50(comes out every 4 years) and a couple of family feuds that occurred as a result. I heard about the feuds, just didn't know the details.

I still can't believe Clemson had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs, ready to win game 2, and the regional in Austin. Somehow the ladies escaped that inning and the rest was history.

The slide was initiated before the ball was in glove. There was no "out by a mile" option.
As I've said, I didn't like the call but it, by rule, was correct.
Obstruction is just what it means. But when you tag somebody out way before they even get close to the base that's not obstruction. They got way too technical looking at the fine print instead of seeing the actual play and why the obstruction rule should not have applied for this play.

I assume you're pissed about the runner interference call. Understand that the refs on the field called the runner out. TT coach challenged based on his knowledge of the interference rule. That's what a coach is expected to do. The review peeps had no choice but to go by the letter of the law and it took forever because they didn't want to call the girl safe but, at the end ,they had no choice. The rule is stupid but they made the call that they had to. Period.

There are a lot of downvotes by those that apparently have no supporting arguments.
Disagree....they could have looked at it and said "Uh, nice try Tech but she was out by a mile"

I can’t believe that the video review even took a look at that for more than 5 seconds, much less change the call. The rule is there for the close plays not for something like that.
