We have been there. Look at our 2 SEC losses and we were up by 3 and 2 runs going into 9th inning. Then walks kicked our arse. None of those guys saw the field this series.

We got nothing against Rick Barnes and he is easy to root for. His track record at Texas was what it was and it was time for a change. Hope he wins a natty.

What a loser pants pisser post. Sorry Tx has been nails this week at the end of games. They gave up some shots (NC state hit 3 big, contested Three's to make it close) but at the end of each game, the horns have hit a big shot. I'm sure you hated to see each one. We are playing with house money, and it's all gravy from now on.

That had to be his thought process. Nobody leaves a pitcher in after walking the bases loaded with a one run lead in the 9th.
wow, great play to end it. I thought it was going to be a repeat of the Ole Miss game where we walk the bases loaded and gave up the grand salami.
Auburn is not swinging....I wouldn't either until you have 2 strikes. Better chance of getting a walk.

I think Schoss is gun shy with Burns after $hitting the bed last weekend in the 9th. When he throws strikes, he seems like a natural closer. But the 9th inning happened last week, and he was a big reason why.
Tx will not be a championship contender without a closer. We keep throwing someone else out there in the 9th with a lead and its potluck each time. Even a few of our wins, we gave up 9th inning runs.
