Perfectly reasonable, no issues

Just as hard in Kansas and Iowa State as it is going to be in Tuscaloosa.

Not sure why in the world he'd add this part. Everyone knows it's not true and it's just going to make clickbait headlines

With all that said, the idea of "bulletin baord material" is nonsense IMO. Once the ball snaps none of the shite talked about in the summer is going to factor in in any way.

In a way this is probably true. Tuscaloosa wouldn't be that hard of a place to play if you could go there and play Kansas State or Iowa State. And Kansas State and Iowa State would be tough places to play if you had to play Alabama when you went there.

All time, Texas has the exact same winning % against Bama as it has against Iowa State. The winning % against Kansas is close to that against Bama and ISU.

This may be upsetting to your narrative, because Texas has historically dominated all 3 schools. Maybe it is time for Bama to stop sucking against Texas.

That’s already happened. Texas hasn’t beaten Bama in 41 years.

Maybe Texas should stop being a steaming pile of what ifs for the last half century.

Jeff Banks was part of some memorable road games with Texas A&M in Tuscaloosa.

2014 - Alabama 59 Texas A&M 0
2016 - Alabama 33 Texas 14

But just like Lawrence and Aimes.

Texas finished dead last with only two wins in the big 12 the last time they were picked to win the big 12, so this year should be easy for them lol

Oh, we’ve now reached the point again for Texas fans to tell us that games played in the 1920s are just as relevant as the fact that Sark has only beaten one power 5 team in the top 25 in his first 2 years at Texas, and that’s with Texas having the highest ranked talent level teams in the last two years compared to the previous 10

Texas is 1-3 in the last four games at Iowa State, including getting blasted 30-7 during their last trip in 2021.

Maybe he is just saying he knows they are going to lose?

I mean, he is correct. Texas should win by like 3 TD's.

Uh... The last time Texas was picked to win the Big 12, they won with a perfect 13-0 record and lost to Alabama in the national championship game?

I asked a former Auburn QB how crowd noised affected him. We were talking about playing at Sanford stadium and he said once the game starts you really don't pay it much attention other than maybe the first couple of plays. He said it doesn't affect ball flight, a running backs speed and if your o linemen are having trouble jumping then they are probably undisciplined anyway. He said if it was as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be no road team would ever win.

I agree. Crowds and noise are probably the most overrated aspect of sports. If Texas wins it will be because that day they are better. DKR couldn't have been any louder than it was for Bama last year but that wasn't why Bama sneaked out a win. 15 penalties (the most of the Saban era until the Tennessee game where Bama had 17) had a ton more to do with it.

Hell, playing in Tuscaloosa is like playing against the ref's own kids in his own backyard.

Some of the biggest wins that I can remember for Ole Miss were against loud crowds in a hostile environment. It serves to motivate players a lot of times.
