Sounds like a bone bruise, so a pretty variable time frame ranging from a few weeks to months.

Then again, it is still early in camp, so the likelihood of teams providing optimistic outlooks for players seem to be a common thing for those not out for the year...

Are you new to football? What team would be the same team or better after losing a LT who is a likely first round pick?

Hopefully the kid can get healthy and be back on the field soon. Wish him the best.

Yeah, better than initially thought, but probably not back in time for tOSU. Going to be interesting to see if they switch the transfer from Wake over or roll a RS freshman in there. If so, they better give him some back help.

You are one straight running dumba$$. Jeez, this is what you come up with when a possible top 10 pick is maybe out for the year or extended time? Be better. And that longhorn tunnel twitter guy can find another team for all I care. Loser

My current reaction..

Really have no room for this kind of thing with our O-line. Thank goodness there is no ACL injury. Hearing that there is real hope for returning by Tennessee, not out of the realm of possibility he makes the OSU game. Missing Ohio State isn’t terrible for our season, but to lose our anchor long term would be incredibly difficult.

Incredibly happy to hear Goosby should be fine and this will not affect his long term career prospects.

It's day to day but he'll be back for game 2 of the season. Sark doesn't plan on making any moves at OL, and that kind of says it all.

Its a bone bruise allegedly. They haven't provided a degree of bone bruise. Likely he plays at some point. That is largely determinant on degree of bone bruise.

The amount of high school kids who want to balloon up to 300+ lbs for football is probably incredibly low. Even then you need to have the height and ability to put on that much mass. Then factor in every single team needs 5 of these guys on the field at a time, it becomes slim pickings real fast. It isnt a matter of just going to the portal or grabbing more in high school recruiting, there just isnt enough really good offensive linemen to go around.

My #2 grandson is 6’5” and 295 lbs. Classic late bloomer (1st year as starter). He wants to go to Erskine College and play along with his older brother, BUT, he’s 6’5 and 295 at 16 years old! He’s gonna get an offer he can’t refuse if he’s just competent as a starter this season.

I thought Cam Coleman was their best player?

He made a circus catch in practice.

This is one of the reasons I’m in favor of NIL. Some of these dudes sustain major career/ life altering injuries while giving their all for our schools.

Oline and Special Teams play/depth are complete shells of what they were 10-15 year ago. 'Gelling' over the course of 2-3 seasons will never occur in CFB's current state.

Had that happen to me in high school. Sucks to hear about the injuries, hopefully he's back to full strength in no time.
