Not sure why you think that's funny.

Kansas State finished 10th in the nation in scoring this year

I don’t see how it’s a bad hire

Hey, K State had a veteran team, a 6th/7th year QB and they could execute

The Big12 hire is funny for aggy

Purple kitty isn't a "middle of the road BIG XII team". They won the league last year and have been a problem for a long time.

The hire is both smart and legit, which is why I'm surprised.

It's not, he's a solid hire many programs would be good with. Are there better options out there? Sure, but for what was available and looking to move, I think Elko did a good job.

OP is one of those ranters that A&M lives in his head and all he does is post about us instead of his favorite team the longhorns. It's kinda sad really.

Klein is a good, creative coach and KSU had a good offense.

Interesting hire given the narrative around Jimbos offense being too slow and plodding.

How is his offense going to work with the talent on hand anytime soon - aka a glass QB and a terrible OLine? They also just lost their good TE; he likes to run 2 TE sets and had a line full of RS-SR's. And has he ever had a receiver over 750 yards in a season? We'll see...

Anybody that realizes its completely legal to throw the ball more than 15 yards in the air for a pass will be an upgrade to Jimbo's offense. There's no where to go but up for us right now.

Let me guess, you refer to 6th grade as "my senior year" don't you?

When the aggies hire Texas tech's DC, their transformation will be complete!

Who wants to plays for aggy? Better have tons of cash around

Look for Wiegman to portal in 3, 2, 1.....

Call me crazy, but I have my doubts about you actually attending Vanderbilt. And you’re trying way too hard to salvage a bad take. Let it go.

Putting that in place seems like a key part of an OC’s job but what do I know

I read that Kansas State was 13 out of 14 teams in the Big 12 in terms of composite talent.

If that’s true, then having that good of an offense is doing more with less.

So at KSU he had a long-term ready built OL and a very battle tested veteran QB and runs an offense that is heavy run base, with the QB running 10-15 times a game, focusing more on the TE and RB and the occasional FB/HB in the passing game over the WRs.

How in the world does that meld with A&M's OL, QB that has already had injuries and concussion concerns, limited TEs with Johnson transferring, and most of the "talent" left on O as WR?

I just do see how this fits...

Perhaps it's a sign that Elko intends to build an offense in a different mold than the previous rosters and even some of the current one. I'm guessing it isn't a one year project.
