After all the hating on Big12 football, aggy goes out and hires a coordinator from the most Big12 team in the conference.

I think KSU is 4-7 against the SEC going back to 2010, including a loss to Vandy.

An impressive run that allowed Texas to reclaim the all time series lead against K-State.

K-State had the all time series lead with 10 wins and 7 losses prior to this, including winning 5 straight from 2006-2011

Quit being so negative.

A&M is going to be in transition, and these are good transition hires.

Aggies offered Denbrock 2.6 million. To be highest paid OC. This why we wake up this morning with news of LSU locking him down for next 3 years. Don’t blame them for trying. Fortunate for Tiger fans that he doesn’t covet money over where he works.

Since Klein has been an OC, his offense has scored...

59 on Baylor
48 on OSU
48 on WVU
47 on KU
44 on UCF
42 on Troy
41 on OU
41 on TCU
41 on UH
40 on MU
38 on TTU
37 on TTU
35 on ISU
31 on TCU (beat the team that eventually went to the title game)
31 on KU
31 on BU
30 on tu (second to only OU this year)
28 on TCU
27 on tu
27 on MU (behind Lsu, UF, & UGA)
21 on OSU
20 on Bama (Sugar Bowl)
10 on Tulane
10 on ISU

F+ (F+ Ratings combine Brian Fremeau's FEI ratings with Bill Connelly's SP+ ratings.)

2023 - OFF 9th
2023 - OFF 20th

The track record isn't a mile long, but I have a hard time not seeing this as a good hire with the potential to be very good.

I’m not sure I would want the LSU OC.

Let’s see how he does without Daniels next year.

Isn't the all time series between KSU and aggy 8-8? With KSU on a 4 game winning streak?

Wait a second. The Big 12, or big dumpster fire as aggy has bleated for years, doesn't play defense though.

Correct. Generally, the Big 12 has poor defense. I don't think anyone would dispute that.

So, how many points you think we need to shave off those totals you posted against Big 12 teams? Or, do we just figure 19 ppg averaged against Bama, Mizz, and Tulane?

Nobody does more with ‘blue collar guys’ than Kansas State. It’s part of their identify, thanks to great coaching. They’re the modem day Va Tech.

Good hire for a&m IMO.

No. I'm sure he's a great hire. I'm very happy for you guys and look forward to watching him put up the same point totals against the big bad SEC defenses that he put up against the little 12.

He's done plenty well vs OU, tu, MU, & Bama. That's now 4 SEC teams.

The advance metrics factor in the kind of defenses he's facing and he still grades out very well.

They clearly don't believe in opponent-adjusted stats.
