All I know is that after 2 years with the Kings of the Big 12 Conference playing in the SEC, we're STILL watching Alabama and Georgia play for the conference championship. Turns out the best of the Big 12 is just middlin' SEC like the rest.

Arizona State won the Big 12 last year, Texas Tech this year. In 2 years in the SEC, you guys have one championship appearance combined and 0 conference titles. Do you think life would be easier if you had stayed in the Big 12? Are the benefits of the SEC worth not being the kings any longer?
No one is stopping you guys from moving to the Big XII. Since you’re not kings any longer, might be something to consider.

No.... We are 13-4 in SEC games
Our problem is our soyjak coach calling plays not our conference alignment.

All we heard was how Texas and OU weren’t built for the sec. Two years and a playoff appearance for both teams out of the sec, OU also has the best defense in the country. I was never worried about competing but I will say both fanbases underestimated the talent across the board in this conference, and the play speed being so fast every week. It’s truly different. Both OU and Texas will compete with bama and UGA and LSU.

I don’t know why we keep having to read these stupid posts. You guys act like we were wandering around looking for a conference to join that we knew nothing about and thought we could push everyone around. All Tx fans and I’m sure ou fans knew it was going to be a grind. It is hard and still better than Waco, Manhattan and Ames. Two things can be true at once

All you cucks saying we "we told you so" and "OU isn't SEC ready" last year thought we we're caught off guard. We weren't, we knew we didn't have the team for it ahead of time. We lost too many O linemen after our last season in the Big 12. What did catch us off guard was how horrible Jackson F*cking Arnold turned out to be and Hawkins wasn't any better. Last year we probably would've lost almost as many games in the Big 12 just because the offense was so bad. I'm glad we made the move though and I'm glad I get the chance to say __________ isn't SEC ready in the game threads after we beat them.
Now if we could just get a freaking offense that can produce 150-200 rushing yards per game and an OC that would call it, we'd be unstoppable

looks better to be an alsoran in the SEC rather than end up behind Texas Tech

OU seems to be legitimately enjoying themselves, despite the slow start last year.
texas is.. well doing what texas does. Their shtick seems to work better as a bigger fish in a smaller pond but I am open to see how they adapt in the long run.

Eat your heart out 7-5, how does 13-3 sound ? You guys lost almost twice the SEC games in one year we did in two.
Beat Florida tho, all the teams LSU lost to are in the playoffs or should be there….

Of course we are enjoying ourselves.
You have played us enough to know what is coming.

No, the Big 12 was boring as shite.
And take a look at the TV ratings.
SEC games are killing it. No one gives a shite about the Big-12. They are irrelevant outside of the fanbases of the teams in the conference.
TV ratings translate into exposure and higher rights fees.
The payout that the SEC teams get from ESPN is only going to get bigger.

Big XII titles meant nothing to us anymore over there.
And no, we don't have any regrets. Why would we?

The SEC has to be better than being stuck playing Baylor and the Midwest schools every week. No offense intended.
Overall, I think the Oklahoma fans are glad and grateful to be here in the land where it just means more. I think there is a lot of acceptance of the Okie fans in how they have conducted themselves.

I love the SEC.
Every week feels like a bowl game and each win matters heavily, more so than the Big 12.
OU benefits more in the SEC with the SEC network coverage, more TV views, and more respect from national media.
I appreciate SEC schedules. OU has had more home games per season and it’s only year 2.
Not much more to say as everyone here understands the competitiveness and brutality in the SEC every week.
No regrets.

None at all. Our issue is Sark's inability to beat coaches such as Day and Smart. Has nothing to do with which conference we are in.
I'd much rather be in a great conference with 2-3 losses than in the boring Big 12. The sec gets more bids than any other conference. Our being left out has nothing to do with conference and everything to do with our overrated coach taking the offseason off for "personal reasons".
frick sark.
