Someone mentioned Gary Gibbs earlier. He had to follow a legend. He went 44-23 and wasn’t that bad.

Not only did he have to follow the King, his hands were tied in scholly/roster numbers due to NCAA violations under Barry if I remember correctly. The real kicker, was he couldn't beat our main rivals. I felt it was wrong to fire him when those limitations were placed on him and with the hell that followed with Smelly and Boo, I'm sure the AD regretted it to.

Oklahoma wasn’t supposed to be in this position unlike 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019.

Agreed

The loss hurt but it’s not like this wasn’t expected.

After getting up 17-0 AT HOME, seeing some actual life out of our offense and knowing the defense we have, it hurts like a MFer

But this loss was not a choke.

It is the f*cking definition of a choke

Wait until she finds out no Fentanyl traffickers were harmed.

Even if this is the case, these "fishermen" are still bringing cocaine and other drugs and Fentanyl was/is being smuggled across the border through the Mexican cartels along with God knows whatever else they can make money off of. None of them have good intentions at heart so I'm good with whatever fate they receive and I'm also good that liberal cucks like you cry about it

OU has entered the chat
And even with them doing that, they still had to cheat in the election

As much as I wanted us to win, tomorrow I get to wake up and celebrate my 22nd anniversary with my wife. She got to ring the bell this week in finishing her breast cancer treatments. This has been a rough year.

Good game Bama. Good luck the rest of the way.

It's things like this that makes us realize how trivial it is to get upset about or beat our chest about a game played by kids for our entertainment. Cheers brother!
Yep, I told our friends that just cost us the game. They laughed because they don't understand momentum but it's true. You can also say that gutsy 4th & 2 for Bama. Had we stopped them there, I'm pretty sure they would've quit
You can go back and check my post. I never talked shite. Maybe 1 or 2 on this board did but most of us usually told them they were delusional. Now that our season is over you probably won't be seeing much of me because I don't give a damn about the rest of yal. Good luck, hope you win out

We wasn't even supposed to be there. We over achieved, you guys under achieved and got there. Carry on and beat TF out of Indiana. This sting won't go away tho
Good game Bama. Truck Indiana
Punter losing this game for OU
Those Texas teams would've won some to
2002-2010 would have had a legit shot every season. We were much more balanced. After BV left for Clemson and dumbass Mike Stoops took over and Bob's refusal to fire him, then it was just try to score as much as need be to win and that wouldn't have flown so well in the old SEC but even then, when you have Baker, Kyler or Jalen at you QB there was always a chance and yes I'm well aware we lost to SEC teams in playoff with those guys but that Georgia game came down to the wire.

Hopefully this happens again tonight

At least you guys have a tight end. We haven't had one of those since Mark Andrews. I love Kanak, dude has the heart of a champion but he's a converted LB and not a threat to anyone

I think Sooner Magic looks like creating more turnovers.

Maybe not a flipping the field pick six, but just giving your offense shorter fields. Like a turnover at midfield that would still results in points even if the offense is struggling to sustain long drives.

Because the kicker is really good.

That's just playing good football, not Sooner Magic

Just wondering what the angle is from OU fans that have them feeling optimistic.

I don't know anybody that really truly feels optimistic. Hopeful, praying for Sooner Magic, trying to speak it into reality? yes, Truly optimistic and confident? no
