UGA is a physical team and Ole Miss has a mediocre defense.
UGA wins.
UGA wins.

Did Saban ever make a prediction on this game?

A long time family friend appears to be beating cancer.
I finished up and stepped away from my work in a less than desirable environment. Will see what 2026 brings.
Received news that our first grandchild is on the way for 2026.
Overall, some bad mixed in with a lot more good.

The trades are hard work. All of my kids chose trade careers, in part because they were repulsed by watching me spend my days on white-collar calls listening to people complain, posture, and kiss arse. They wanted real work, which they got plus some.
They are strong, hardworking people, but the trades are physically demanding, and that reality can’t be ignored. Over time, the work takes a toll on your body, which means you have to think ahead. Long term success often depends on planning for the next phase - whether that’s business ownership, supervision, estimating, or other roles that rely more on experience and judgment than pure physical labor.
The end of one season and looking ahead to a new coach and way of thinking provides optimism. Could it turn out to be as bad as the Orgeron and Kelly endings - sure.
I am just not as emotionally invested in it compared to when I was young.

College football is a mercenary business for players and coaches. Swinging for the homerun hire and throwing money around can backfire. LSU found that out the hard way. This season, and most of the last four years, proves it.
Now CLK inherits a depleted bowl roster. We’ve seen this movie before. Hopefully this time it ends better.

Considering who LSU either didn’t pursue or couldn’t land, the hire wasn’t a terrible one - at the time. That said, I’ve always viewed Brian Kelly as a difficult personality, not a particularly likable guy.
Ultimately, he was a bad fit, and his coaching drive appeared to be gone. More often than not, he came across as red-faced and barking at people rather than leading them.

The Hunt family is worth over $20B but still requires a state handout.

Today just proves that
- Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Big 12 and maybe new PAC-12 (or put them below) should have their own playoff.
- AAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt, CUSA, MAC. have their own playoff.
G5’s with the P4’s isn’t working so well but for the occasional regular season upset.

re: What LSU players that transferred out over last 10 years, you would love to have now?

I never understood the Lance Heard choice in coming to LSU (other than for $) when Will Campbell was starting @ LT since he was a freshman. For Heard to come here, get upset and then transfer didn’t make sense other than another payday.
I looked back at your original post. What a beautiful post and child. We had three preemies and if that isn’t emotional enough on its own there is a surgery involved. Bless you, your daughter, wife and your family that all has turned out well.

I would imagine even Trump was fully aware of the low level, $h”tp@$t he was unleashing on the world. Reiner wasn’t a nice guy and Trump is the type that won’t let it go. You may see a follow up with the son’s arrest.
Camera or no camera, I look forward to the days when Teams meetings will no longer be a part of my life. All the dribble, posturing, arse kissing and verbal vomit…...
I don’t think the NFL cares at all about social justice, I think they only do this because it’s in the best interest of their business, business partners, brand and it helps them control the labor force chaos that would ensue if they didn’t demonstrate caring.
Something like 70% of players are black. Between that fact and the ESG scoring, they must take a position.
I in no way defend the league and stopped watching with the 2016 player uprising and kneeling. I understand what the league did, but I have a right to not support it.

Are we going to pretend like he didn’t direct some of the best movies in cinematic history? Stand by Me, A Few Good Men, etc?
He wasn’t a good guy, especially the last decade.
Is this not leftist/woke on leftist/woke violence?
Coach O can be a bit “much” as they say.
The system that seemed to prop up and push Moore along doesn’t seem interested in continuing to do so.
His actions have consequences and he is now feeling those. We aren’t hearing the usual serving of media slop about the impact upon the black man, DEI, etc.
