re: The Narrative That Trump Backed Down

It's honestly amazing it still works, he does it so often. Granted, sometimes I think it's 6 months of effort for very, very modest returns (on our part) but nonetheless, I'm surprised they still play the game instead of saying "Trump, we know how this goes, let's fast forward to the part where you don't get the big thing you're talking about and we make some minor concessions and you claim massive victory."
This “tactic” only works if you have an extreme amount of leverage. For example, if you’re a billionaire hashing out a contract with a small construction company.
The guy isn’t a genius negotiator, he just only does deals with much smaller entities. A good example is he can’t really get any deal out of Russia because it’s not nearly as one sided from a leverage standpoint.
I will say, convincing everyone that coming up incredibly short of the initial ask of the deal, was part of the plan all along was genius.

Technically, it’s exactly what the 2nd amendment was made for. To resist against a government that you consider to be oppressive. Doesn’t matter if that oppression is legal or not (After all, the whole revolution started after new legal taxation laws went into effect).

I guess not.

Directed energy weapons aren’t a new development. The real mystery is the Havana syndrome device, which if used in the raid, seemed to be affecting people in all directions (ie not directed) without affecting delta.
This I’m assuming by the report where all their soldiers were most incapacitated, and assuming all of them weren’t standing in a straight line lol.

Sounds like a good deal if there are investors for the minerals.
American companies are already working on mineral projects in Greenland. This “deal” is the same one that was made over 70 years ago…
I mean seriously, one of the points is “access to the arctic circle”. Do any of you actually believe we didn’t already have access to the arctic circle? I mean, cmon lol.

So what’s the logic here? Isn’t a private company allowed to do what they want? Similar to a bakery being protected from making a cake for a gay couple?

Putin has a greed on multiple peace deals . Ukraine has been the problem because they are filthy rich from this stupid war and they don't want the money gravy train to end
The only peace deal that Russia has agreed to is the one they broke when they invaded Ukraine (the one negotiated by your dear leader).

The funny thing is, they also don’t realize we already have access to the minerals, there’s multiple extraction projects going on there with American companies.

Ukraine has consistently been agreeing to various peace deals. Russia however has not. You guys realize that it takes two to end the war right? And that Russia is the one holding things up, right?
It was just a month ago that Ukraine agrees to a proposal, then Russia heavily bombed Kyiv and tried to make up a lie that Ukraine targeted Putin. Has this all been forgotten already?

The dude negotiated the deal that we already had… there’s no art of the deal here.
He wants bases and missiles there, Denmark already lets us have facilities there.

None of this reads as we get Greenland… if that were the case, we’d be negotiating with Denmark, not NATO.
This seems more along the lines of we may get more bases and or other nations countries agree to also have a presence there.
Guess we will see.

Was it democrats that rushed and broke into various capitol buildings when Biden's election was the "will of the people" by the same metrics?
Can someone explain to me?
You guys need to realize there are crazies on both sides of the spectrum, and it just so happens this board is home to many of the ones from the right (which is why you guys don't see the hypocrisy in posts like these).

So, now you guys trust the woman that they had to keep info on the Venezuela op away from due to her Venezuela/russia sympathies? Really guys.
The other thing she left out is, Z didn't change the constitution, their constitution prohibits elections while under state of marshal law.
She also tried to compare us having a war on the other side of the world, with them having a war in their own country with cruise missiles hitting Kyiv daily. Only a moron thinks they are even remotely the same thing. Especially given that some of you want the insurrection act invoked over some Karen protesters.

Reality is it’s unlikely for Vance to win regardless. Historically, the white house always flips when the incumbent cant run.

Extracting the rare earth minerals there isn’t economically feasible, which is why no one’s been doing it. This really just is because he was ticked off for not getting the Nobel prize as he just admitted himself.
