But less than 50% completion, accuracy has been a problem for him. I do grant you that he's got a easier secondary this week though.

He was 16/32 in the game and there were 5 drops in the first half (1 by Croom, 2 by Wolf, 1 by Malone and 1 by Kamara). If those are completions, he's suddenly at 65%.

1. Tennessee doesn't throw the ball well/efficiently enough, UGA will be able to load the box and slow down the run. I like UGA's rushing attack to edge out Tennessee's and be the difference.

Dobbs threw for 312 yards and 3 TD and rushed for 118 yards & 2 TD last year vs Georgia.

He just threw for 319 yards & 4 TD and rushed for 80 yards and 1 TD against a much, much better Florida defense.

Try again.

. I expect UGA to put forth an all out 100% best effort after suffering a rare beat down. Conversely, it could be hard for Tennessee to get back up right after a win that was so big for the program.

Jesus Christ, is this serious?

. Home game for the Dawgs. UGA has won the last 4 at home vs Tenn and I think the trend continues.

Home field advantage is an advantage. You are correct.

Hey, I'm giving your team and Dobbs a lot of credit, but I'm not willing to call it good pass defense when the defender just falls down and leaves a receiver wide open behind the defense. However, I do wish that I could blame some of our problems on defenders falling down. They just can't cover, apparently.

Did Tabor just randomly fall down or does Jennings not get credit for juking Tabor out of his shoes? LINK

He gets credit, but it was also bad coverage.

It can be both.

Exactly. Keeping your feet might be the first important rule of pass coverage. If you fall and you're the only guy between a receiver and the goal line, you're toast a high percentage of the time.

How is there not a coaching advantage to Jones? Smart is about to coach his 5th game as a HC, Jones has been a HC at UT for a few years and at Cincinatti before that. I'd say that's a big coaching advantage going in to this game considering we don't know how KS will be as a HC.

Yeah, the underlying message is Butch Jones is a garbage coach. You should know that more than me.

Dobbs can be an inaccurate passer, especially when he throws down the field. This is no secret.

Yeah it's serious. Football is played by actual humans on an actual field. Emotions, for lack of a better word, matter. Do you honestly believe that getting utterly embarrassed and/or coming right off a 10 (11?) game losing streak to UF couldn't have an effect on the mindset of players for the following game?

Sure but I would certainly hope VOLS know they will have a stranglehold on the East if they take care of business in Athens Saturday

Oh Geez.

Does Tennessee have a 10 game winning streak or is it 11?

Garbage coaches don't do that.

Even after Dobbs threw an INT to open the second half, the Vols throttled the Gators.

That has to reflect well on the coaching.

Absolutely. If Tennessee wins then an appearance in the SEC championship game is damn near a lock. I'm sure they know this. My point was just that it's rare for 2 teams to be coming off such a high and such a low as we will see Saturday.

I think we will be better, but not that much. I expect out line play to be a step better and believe it or not I think we get better RB play. That's me sticking my neck out given the fact Chubb will be out, but I have felt like Chubb missed some opportunities to bounce outside and get positive yardage.

It's also at home so I expect more effort. So we will see. Fingers crossed OM's receivers show up to play for us.

Fortunately, I am well adjusted enough to not be bothered by an online bully. I'm sure you're super great IRL though....

What I'm really mad about is that Ole Miss doesn't have Tennessee on the schedule this year. Would of loved to be the team that knocks you down a couple pegs.
