Dog fans, what are your thoughts on this game?

I just hope UGA plays better than the past few weeks.

We're going to struggle mightily unless y'all have a post-UF letdown. Barnett should have a field day on our OL, and I have a hard time seeing our secondary match up with your receivers, especially if we can't get to Dobbs.
So in summary, not good.

The line is still at -3.5.

We will probably get bent over, but you never know

These games are always closer than they should be. I think the last 5 have been decided by 1 possession. With it being at Sanford, I am not knocking the Dawgs chances 1 bit.

First year Georgia coach looking for a sig win as underdogs to a very good VOLS team.
Let's hope we don't see a replay of 2001.

This will be the most exciting game of the week. We still don't know how well UF or UT stacks against the rest of the SEC. This will give us more info relative to the UGA/OM game.

Classic letdown spot for UT. Given the long history between the programs and the game being at Sanford I see it being close. No significant coaching advantages for either team either.

With these games I just think of 2012. A Dooley coached 5-7 team was driving down the field at Sanford with a chance to tie it up on the last drive before a fumble ended the drive. That was against a 12-2 UGA that finished ranked #4/5. Or the Pig fumble in 2013 to lose in 2OT. This game can go to either team easily.

As long as the upperclassmen on the team continue to rebel against a much tougher regime that makes them work harder than they ever have in college, it could get ugly.

I don't think the UGA game will tell us anything about how the East stacks up against the West. UGA is a better team then they showed against Ole Miss, imo. Next week will show how the East stacks up.

The biggest problem is, the game against Ole Miss wasn't a one week thing. We looked very poor in a lot of areas against Nicholls and Mizzou as well. We didn't score off any of the 4 turnovers, but if Mizzou could have held onto the ball they probably win that game.
I'm hoping a good home crowd gives us energy, but we need your OL and DL to struggle mightily for us to have a chance IMO.

Tennessee by about 2 TD's is my guess. Vols are starting a veteran legit dual-threat QB with tall, talent receivers and a solid OL. Georgia is starting a Freshman QB, small, unreliable receivers and a mediocre OL. On top of that we have worst kicking game that I have ever seen for any Georgia team.

I think if Tennessee loses to UGA by a significant margin (10+ points), it shows the East is worse than we though.

I do think it helps that this is the first home game that people give a shite about.
Probably should have given more of a shite about Nicholls in hindsight, but no use crying over nearly spilt milk
