Tennessee hasn't really put together a complete game yet. But UGA could very well be 0-4 right now.

Vols take it in a low scoring game.

I agree with that. I'm worried about UGA. We've been the underdog the last few years and each game have been great games.

Shoop has schooled Chaney once before with a talent disadvantage. For non VOLS fans, feel free to watch the 2012 Tennessee/Vandy game to know what I'm talking about.

I can't argue with that.

Heck, for many, many years - it seems like - an excellent place kicker was the one thing we were almost sure to have.

It's gotta be some kind of mental block they're dealing with. I know they're walkons, but most major college walkon kickers are much better than ours.

My high school team's kicker was much more reliable.

Has the potential to get ugly... Until I see something on the field to suggest otherwise I imagine we will struggle in pass coverage, rushing the passer, and keeping contain on defense. These 3 things should allow Dobbs - a marginal passer - to do pretty much whatever he wants offensively. If your receivers have massive dropsies a la first half of UF, then the game could potentially stay close (assuming ours *don't* repeat last weeks catching efforts) but really seeming likely to see 14-21 point win for the Vols here. I would knock it down to the 10-17 range but we can't kick field goals... period. #yanteforkicker

Last year we missed two FG's at Bammer and lost by five.

Last year we missed the game winner at UF, although that one was long, like 55 yards.

Same guy this year. Medley.

I cringe when our FG kicker is called upon.

Our kickers struggle with extra points and can't make anything past 30 yards, so consider yourself lucky.

I think we only have like 1 or 2 touchbacks this season.

ETA: We have 6 on 21 total kickoffs

The problem for Georgia right now is that we don't have any phase of the game looks promising. Coming in, most people thought that the running game would be pretty good, but it's been shut down at times. Shoop has to crowd the LOS and attack everything. Until Georgia finds an answer to that defense, and learns how to defend the forward pass, every game is a potential embarrassment.

I like UGA in this game. Here's why:

1. Tennessee doesn't throw the ball well/efficiently enough, UGA will be able to load the box and slow down the run. I like UGA's rushing attack to edge out Tennessee's and be the difference.

2. I expect UGA to put forth an all out 100% best effort after suffering a rare beat down. Conversely, it could be hard for Tennessee to get back up right after a win that was so big for the program.

3. Home game for the Dawgs. UGA has won the last 4 at home vs Tenn and I think the trend continues.

Dawgs even the all time series 22-22-2 Saturday.

I don't like our chances in this game based on what I've seen so far this year.
UT v UGA is historically a close game and that doesn't bode well for us with our kicking game.

I would take that or an opposite day game of 2004.
