Good point.
Kicking it through the end zone is the only safe course with that guy.

I bet it'll be close... it almost always is between these two teams, regardless of how well the team's match up against each other. I think we'll probably win, but I could definitely see it going the other way if we still have a post UF hangover.

Evan Berry will finally get some chances to return the kickoff. I'm hoping he houses the opening kickoff and quickly silences Sanford.

I thought is we should play the game and see who wins

I don't even know what "tList" is, but whatever it is is probably much longer than the list of people on this earth who can stand to be around you for more than 5 mintues IRL. You're beyond petulant...
Dawgs win 34-31

No troll, I think UT matches up very well. UT wins big. But I predicted blowout UT loss 2-3 years ago and it was close, so you never know.

I didn't even consider the impact Berry might have Saturday. Every kicker we have faced so far has been able to routinely boom it deep into the end zone.

Medley is money from inside 40. Very iffy between 40 to 45, and basically can do nothing outside of that.

Tennessee doesn't throw the ball well/efficiently enough, UGA will be able to load the box and slow down the run.
I believe Josh Dobbs threw for over 300 yards on 4 touchdowns Saturday against a far superior secondary.
If Georgia's front 7 plays anything like they did Saturday, I think Dobbs will kill them on the QB runs.

There is something about that series record that just seems right in the world... but I do not share your opinion that it is likely to come to fruition.

I wouldn't say Mizzou does either, but they gashed us repeatedly until they stopped doing it. Almost the reverse of the UNC game where they were gashing us for running plays and then stopped running the ball.

I like UGA's rushing attack to edge out Tennessee's and be the difference.
I like our *talent* at RB, but so far our rushing attack has been pretty meh. Very unimaginative playcalling and too many runs up the middle which just isn't cutting it. Need more toss/pitch plays to get Michel/Chubb outside.

I expect UGA to put forth an all out 100% best effort after suffering a rare beat down
I expected us to show up for what would be the most difficult game on our schedule but we didn't. Not sure there is any reason to suspect otherwise here except it is a home game... the crowd could will this team to compete harder rather than turtle like we saw last week.

could be hard for Tennessee to get back up right after a win that was so big for the program.
This is about the only thing I'd hang my hat on. It should be pretty difficult for UT to get as "up" for this game coming on the heels of last week, but with that said, they also know that win this one and they may well lock up the east, even if they lose to Bama.

Home game for the Dawgs
This can certainly help, but is almost entirely dependent on not getting in a big hole early. I hate to admit this, but a good portion of the UGA fanbase is pretty awful. Hell, the UGA board is damn near unreadable between people blaming Richt or dog cussing Kirby because he's not Richt. That is a just a microcosm of what's going on in the stands. End of the day, there *are* major talent deficiencies on the roster which have been exacerbated by execution mistakes and coaching mistakes in my opinion. While you can't address the talent situation during the season in a particularly meaningful way, if we see some execution and coaching growth I give us a punchers chance.

I knew Ole Miss would curb stomp us. I think Tenn will only just whoop us. Only difference we are at home for 1st big game. We are to young this year to hang w/ Tenn is they are as good as advertised.

But less than 50% completion, accuracy has been a problem for him. I do grant you that he's got a easier secondary this week though.

I agree. In my mind it's an effort/mentality thing though and not a talent issue. I think UGA shows up and that's why the game is close.

If you're being fair, Florida's secondary didn't play a good game. There were some blown coverages that gave up a lot of yardage in a hurry. But, Georgia hasn't managed to rush the passer or cover yet this season, so Dobbs could easily have a huge day running or passing. Or maybe we sell out to pressure Dobbs and we give up a ton of yards to Hurd and Kamara, and the WR's running wide. Based on what we've seen, opposing offensive coordinators have to be licking their chops.

I am hoping the coaches sold UF and UGA as a two-fer. Gotta win them both to reach the season goal.
They did have a high 'high!' on 9/24 though.

Well, consider this Saturday your lucky day, sir.

The two biggest passes of the day were not blown but were great throws and plays by the wideouts imo. Jennings put a move on Tabor and that's why he was wide open. Malone was covered well on a slant but Dobbs made a great throw and Malone outran two defensive backs.
There was a blown coverage on the Hurd wheel route tho
