Where the frick is Publix

That was my question because within a 5 mile radius of my house in NAL there are 6 Publix stores.

I’ve never even heard of a Safeway and the only Pig I know of that is left is the one in Homewood.

So many stadiums have stupid branded names now that I cannot even care.

You can't convince me that naming a stadium after a dog food company leads to a single extra sale of dog food. Just tacky shite
id like to thank, somehow, Truist or Mercedes Benz or Food City or whatever has some massive data being combed over by an advanced marketing team to prove this is profitable but I truly don’t think you can gauge something like that.

So we just gotta deal with losing tradition so some higher ups at megacorp can gain access or pat himself on the back.

frick everything about this

That's how I feel about the concert venues in Atlanta. It seems like they change the sponsorships every fricking year. Verizon is now Ameris Bank. Chastain is now Cadence Bank I think. Not even sure what Lakewood is being called these days

I’ve seen Food City in small towns in the Appalachian mountains. Not a big player.

And they give us shite over Kroger Field?

I bet if Phat Phil were still there he would have held out for Piggly Wiggly or Dollar General store.

Kroger is giving you 1.85 mil per year for your football stadium.

LINK

Food city is giving us $2 mil per year for our basketball stadium.

Pretty pathetic for a “big boy” sponsor

But pathetic is synonymous with Kentucky in general

Lived in Texas for years. H-E-B doesn't hold a candle to Publix. Not even close.

I used to think this, but they put a new HEB in Plano and it is pretty awesome.

Four years ago and we don’t have to worry about their ability to pay.
