You said it, it's over 100 years old. I know they built things better back in the day, but let's not push it.

It’s been renovated several times and the south side should be finally complete in the next few years. Even in its current state it’s better than your shithole you play in. It’s getting up there in years as well, you should demo it.

Isn't Food City one of those small chains in low-income neighborhoods?

Nope. It's simply a local chain.

That's not the same chain.

All the time, as well as the country. What the frick does that have to do with not knowing what a Safeway is?

It’s not like when I travel I’m scoping out grocery stores…maybe that’s your thing though.

Someone's sensitive because they don't know what one of the largest chain of stores in the country is

I was going to say that looks like a ghetto dollar store, not a Food City.

Aren't you a stupid son of a bitch in a low-income neighborhood? No, Food City is a large, Virginia based chain with new and modern stores in the better areas. They will close a purchased store in a ghetto area in a heartbeat, and they damn sure don't build there. Food City has been a Vols corporate sponsor for years. They used to have Coca-Cola coupons on the back of paper tickets. They also have the Food City Tailgate of the Week that is announced at every game. Pretty decent prize package. Isn't aTm where they have the gay male cheerleaders?

That’s one hell of a melt over a question about a grocery store.

Food City sounds way more ghetto and white trashy than it actually is. Stores are actually pretty nice. They are a big deal in east Tennessee.

I’m not. I’ve actually been 3 times in the last 15 years. It’s a shithole. Nice environment though.

I’ve never been to a “nice” food city. I’ve only been to 2 though. One by the mall is pretty ghetto compared to the Publix by me.

Yeah. Bi-Lo was usually the ghetto store. Kroger and FC are virtually the same. Both have some great stores and both have some average ones. E. TN just doesn't have a lot of poor grocers. Rural shoppers go into town and urban areas were never as segregated as the deep south.

Is your football stadium literally named after a fricking grocery store?
Also Thompson Bowling Arena isn’t going anywhere. They will basically share the name.
“Thompson Bowling Arena @ Food City Center.”

Funny, because Food City is laying UT more than what Kentucky is getting from Kroger and it’s more than what Kentucky is getting from the Bank for its BB Arena.
