Food city is shite and I wouldn’t set foot in there anymore unless I just really needed some beer and it was close by.. but that is the shittiest Food City I’ve ever seen.
That makes Knoxville FC look like Whole Foods.

What do you have against Publix?

Ingles has as good of quality for far less. Food Lion, I don't care for, Aldi's don't do the bagging. Miss both Bi-Lo and Winn-Dixie.

Second. I assumed it would be Publix or maybe Piggly Wiggly.
A decade or so back, I would have guessed Winn Dixie.
ETA: fake news. Looks like 1. Piggly Wiggly; 2. Walmart; 3. publix

I know Food City sponsors the Bristol race but I've only ever seen Food Lion and Bi Lo in east TN.

Barnes is allergic to post season basketball.
TN needs to sell the rights for their football stadium. Place is a dump and easily needs $500M in upgrades

They need to raze Neyland and rebuild. It's large is it's only attribute. Location is excellent. however.

Lulz, Food City is in Harlan, KY and Whiteburg, KY. That should tell you how bad Food City is.

Lol yeah we are going to tear down an 100 year old stadium (on a campus already lacking space).

You said it, it's over 100 years old. I know they built things better back in the day, but let's not push it.

All the time, as well as the country. What the frick does that have to do with not knowing what a Safeway is?
It’s not like when I travel I’m scoping out grocery stores…maybe that’s your thing though.

Always do. When I go on vacations, I don't carry my steak, chicken, shrimp, etc. with me. Do you? Or, do you just like restaurants that much?

I used to think this, but they put a new HEB in Plano and it is pretty awesome.
I'm willing to accept that the new H-E-B in Plano is better than Publix, sure.
The rest? Nah.

Has Publix started selling prime cuts of beef yet?

Of course, and if there's something specific you want you ask them and they'll get it.
I'd still always go to a butcher over any grocery store.
