I think we’ve also been conditioned by UGA football that if we aren’t skull fricking teams and controlling games, the world is coming to an end and that’s not how baseball works

Yup, and I will take today's calls over yesterdays 100 times out of 100. Yesterday really shakes hitters as you don't have any idea if that ball is going to be a strike or a ball so you wind up swinging at a lot of junk.

Tyler talked me off the edge in the game thread with we are fine if we are home which is true so hopefully we get our home regional and see who is going to be in it .. however I still can’t shake the feeling of it all being for nothing and us getting out out in our own regional

I can assure you that’s not the case. This team is really tough to watch 90% of the time. On the batter’s side we strike out and can’t get runners in.
On the pitching side we give up free passes at an alarming rate. We likely finish with a better record than last year’s team but this team is wayyyy tougher to watch

LSU had an Aggie esque collapse, couldn't build a lead without it crashing down.
