Losing a game that causes your RPI to drop from 6 to 12 is absolutely meaningful. And had we not won the series this weekend it would very much be meaningful. But we were very fortunate Friday and handled business yesterday and made last Tuesday just a bump in the road that should be nothing more than a lesson learned.

This isn’t exactly the same as saying a rookie head coach is obviously going to tank to get Nussmeier. The likelihood the Saints will be bad enough to be able to draft Nussmeier isn’t exactly some earth shattering revelation.
