Had a friend who has a boy who plays for St. Thomas More; they lost to Southside 10-5 yesterday. The interesting part though is the starter for Southside, who he said was awesome, threw 116 pitches in 6 and 1/3. But even more amazing than that he was allowed to throw that many pitches, was Southside scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th to go up 10-1, and even with the kid sitting around 100 pitches and a 9 run lead, the coach for Southside trotted that kid back out on the mound to throw in the top of the 7th and didnt get him out until he got in trouble. Stuff like that just should not happen.

Firing him now serves no benefit, and if anything might tend to piss prospective coaches off. Verge and staff need to be hard at work identifying their guys and have a plan for when McMahon is fired in a couple weeks. That is what the focus should be right now.
Besides being not very talented (by SEC standards), this is an extremely soft team. No bulldogs whatsoever.

It looked like Queen was just going to walk backwards into the stands rather than guard Randall.
Biggest concern with Fears is he has no feel for when to look for his shot. He shoots at the worst possible times.
