You will now get accused of obsessing over Lane and LSU.

Florida and LSU can both be happy with their new HCs, these things aren't mutually exclusive.

Sumrall and Golding will both be massive failures.

Both trying 10x harder than Brian Kelly to fit in with their fanbases, but both have 1/1,000th the resume of Brian Kelly.

Yeah and he has also said that was a brutal 3 weeks where he was the head coach of 2 teams at the same time. We need to do something about the recruiting and transfer portal time frames with respect to the playoffs.

There will always be coach and player turnover, so they need to have it occur after the last game is over. Teams shouldn't be penalized for having a good season.

Oh, you know it was tough. Saban always praised Kirby for doing his D-cord duties and HC duties for UGA. Not so much with Lane and some Florida school

Good Lord, Sumrall contradicts himself several times in that high horse rant.

He also manages to work in a strawman or two. Guess what Jon? LSU didn't require Lane to leave Ole Miss hanging. They were willing to work out something to let him do both. It was Ole mess AD who said hit the road.

They've been grinding on recruits while breaking out fake accents?

Lane tried to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs. Their AD wouldn’t allow it. I don’t know how many times this needs to be repeated.

PG won the Rebels over by beating Kirby and UGA.

How are their situations different at all? He said he would not have left Tulane if his new employer told him he couldn't coach in the playoffs. Lane's new employer never put any ultimatums on him like that.

He even acknowledged he left his current team before the playoff, and asked whether they wanted him to coach. Sounds just like what Lane did
