If we could just get one more short-term drop to $1 or less, I'll need to start playing golf again to prepare for my early retirement.

same as it did saban. The old school coaches hate this crap rightfully so
Yep. I don't like it either, but guys like Saban and Brian Kelly couldn't navigate it. We're fortunate to have a coach that so fully embraces it now. There's no other way to survive.

Good Reddit comment on the video:

“I’ve gone through the summary twice and all I can get out of it is ‘you don’t have enough shares’”

All of the above , except production facility completion, could happen in the next 70 days.
Mostly, yes. He seemed to have a bit slower opinion on the contracts, though. Basically saying we'll see just a few in the next 70 days. But then bigger numbers later in the year.

He did not seem to think they would unleash 60 contracts on the day following EPA approval or anything.

Which sounds like a good move. They don't have capacity to service a bunch of contracts, so the scaling with additional hyperion units will come as more contracts come.

A HydroGraph Clean Power Update from Kerry Landis

Great interview

Some highlights:

- Said he expects EPA approval in Q1, and he does not know of any hang-ups, just the final processing.

- Expects "a few" purchase orders to come in Q1 and expects this year to be significant in building up those contracts

- They expect to be in the lab in Austin by the end of February, certainly by the end of Q1. They'll get a hyperion unit or 2 up and running there, and then will have Grand Opening in Q2.

- They are building 2 more hyperion units in Manhatten and expect them to be completed by end of February - that will give them capacity of 30 tons/year. They are coming in cheaper to build than the previous $350-500k estimate.

- A contract for a provider of acetylene is in the final review stage and he expects to have that contract in hand next month, or by the end of Q1. Once approved, construction of the production facility outside of Houston will begin (already an existing building) to scale up to have "many, many" hyperion units by the end of the year.

- He anticipates NASDAQ listing not until Q2 due to the heavy regulatory requirements. It's well under way now. They will redomicile into the US at the same time.

- U.S. Army research lab plans to develop a GEIC in the U.S. and is bringing HGRAF in to play a center role in that (2-3 year process).

Right. And if it's true that 5 years ago GMG was where HGRAF is now, I'm guessing it's been a slow 5 years for them b/c they (1) couldn't mass produce/market their product; and/or (2) their stuff isn't as good.

I guess we'll see. Again, there's plenty of room for both companies to be massively successful. And if GMG is really in the market of making their own products, then they really aren't even a competitor of Hydrograph.

Other than it getting EPA approval last month, I haven't looked into GMG at all. But I found this post of Reddit interesting, comparing GMG to HGRAF. The GMG folks seems pretty confident they have the better product:

LINK

quote:

In a nutshell, the difference is that HGRAF produces and sells high purity graphene to customers. It’s then up to the customer to search and develop an application WITH and FOR this graphene.

GMG produces its own high purity graphene AND develops products around it.

That’s the difference.

quote:

It should be noted that HGRAF does not actually sell any significant quantities of graphene. They always talk about how may 'customers' they have but just because a company is testing their graphene does not mean they are or will become a customer. Also, they talk about high margins but until a customer actually pays that price they cannot be certain what the margin is.

quote:

HGRAF is a lot of hype but they have not made any significant sales or contracts. They have missed every target date for contracts, EPA approval, uplisting, and production facility buildout. If not for the pump by Kevin B. on social media, HGRAF would still be trading at 20 cents. It is way overvalued considering the lack of progress.

quote:

GMGs graphene quality is much higher. It’s pure graphene because there is no oxygen involved in the production process. The model of selling graphene direct is where gmg was 5 years ago and it doesn’t work. You need your own applications because no one knows what to do with the powder so it’s worthless on its own. HG will find that out at some point too.

Not that this has to be a zero sum game or anything, but I found it amusing/interesting.

Newsflash, none of these guys do. NIL and NFL are the only concerns.

I tried to read it in my head in this voice:

I would not be surprised if more older coaches pack it in like Saban.
Brian Kelly did. He just didn't tell us about it.

I do wonder what the stock price will do if we reach end of January with no news.
There seems to be pretty good support around $1.90 so I could see it dropping back there. Maybe lower if people pull out, since there seem to be a lot of internet chatter about a decision this month or next.

I agree with Jax though, it doesn't matter for me. I'm selfishly hoping it holds off a bit longer so I can keep buying.

No he’s mad because he sold before the big run up last fall. You can track his posts in the thread.
Ouch. Yeah it looks like he sold around $35-40 right before the big run up.

I've been there, too. But I don't actively root against other people b/c of sour grapes.
With this kind of momentum, I don't expect we'll see Paul anytime soon.

$500k in HGRAF.

By 2030, you'll either have nothing or you may have $50 million+. Technically, this is money you don't even have now, so you wouldn't be losing anything to find out.

For what? The statement by the NCAA doesn't sound like he has much of a leg to stand on.

Now maybe there is another side to the story, but if so, what is it?

Take Chambliss or Lacey even for instance. Youre still playing a season and your coach comes up to you and wants to lock you in for another year.
The portal was open when these 2 signed their deals. They just didn't enter the portal. They could have if they wanted to.
