I don’t understand the Kellen Mond hype one bit. LSU let VANDY put up 38 and Ole Miss score 38. And Mond puts up SEVEN against us? Dude just ain’t it

Enlighten us then.. LSU was a common oponent for Trask and Mond.. One shredded LSU for 300+ yards and 3 TD's... the other went 10/30 92 Yards and 3 INT's...

I'll take Mullen/Trask over Jimbo/Mond all day. And I think most of this baord would agree.

Eh...it's a toss up.

Jimbo has a championship and Mullen probably will never get one.

Maybe, but we don’t know that. Looking at current body of work I have to go with Trask. He’s shown the toughness and competitiveness that you just can’t teach, and he did it with games on the line in hostile situations. He can be very accurate and precise. I can’t stand UF, but until Mac or Young or Brennan (insert whatever less experienced QB you want) proves himself when it counts, Trask is the easy answer.

Based on these standings, SEC is having a big down season when it comes to QB talent.

If the draft is any indication, the two best QBs in the country were in the same division. I'm not sure if there was going to be any other way that could pan out.

The irony of this coming from a fanbase that's touting a true freshman as the best QB in the conference shouldn't be lost on anyone.

LSU didn’t beat Mond. We rushed for 72 yds on 2.8 yds/carry. Yall whipped our o-line, wideouts, d-line, secondary, backers.

2020 is easily most talented team we’ve fielded since conf change. Funny how good Mond will “suddenly” look when 21 other players are doing their jobs too.

How sad will you be when they lose 2-3 games?

Is the new kid at State not on the list? Cochella, or whatever? I was told he would throw for 11,000 yards and 400 TDs this year.

Did... did you guys get a different team to come in and play in place of all the guys who got whipped? Is that the deal you made with Clemson to go along with the home and home series?

Well, he can throw it 75 yards and leap tall buildings.

Buechele should be a lot higher. He's a great QB on a bad team.

He will. Just against Arkansas.

Such an odd thing to be rustled about, BIGBAW.

Nah, we just finally got rid of all the Sumlin leftovers and all the 4/5 star true freshmen who were playing in HS the year before are more experienced and developed.

Anything else?

honestly don't get the love for Jamie Newman. In his last five games against crappy ACC competition (Clemson is the exception), he completed more than 50 percent of his passes only once.

His wrs sucked once the starters got hurt

I really don’t understand the mond hype at all. He hasn’t improved in his 2 years under jimbo (who is vastly overrated). So is he going to randomly get better his senior year with the same coaching staff? No. He’ll be an average starter. That’s all he is

Yikes

There's a difference between acknowledging that he may have more pro potential because of his legs and preferring him as a college QB for 2020
