sounds like Mond's support last year.

would love to hear your reasoning behind Jimbo being "vastly overrated".

He hit once on a great qb, jameis winston. Jameis came to college great and actually got worse under jimbo from his first year to second year. And then he left fsu a complete dumpster fire and jumped ship to A&M and saved his record. His first 2 years at A&M have been worse than Kevin sumlin’s first two years. And he’s getting paid $75 million to do so. That’s why

a good qb makes the rest of the team better. i understand what you are saying about the supporting cast, but a good qb is a leader. a leader makes the whole team better.
looking ahead....mond will put up slightly better numbers this year because the schedule is quite a bit easier.
Re: the LSU beat down of the aggies...you printed cups from the year prior...and they took it personally. media was also busy telling everyone that LSU's defense was not good enough. you ran into a buzz saw that day.

Kevin Sumlin inherited a team that returned 17 starters, including its entire offensive line and 9/11 defensive starters. He was also the beneficiary of an unthinkable lack of injuries. (Starters missed one combined game due to injury) Even with that, over his first two seasons, he had to rely on Manziel winning 6 games singlehandedly.
Fisher inherited a team that had just lost Christian Kirk, 2 of its top offensive linemen, and 3 of its top defenders...oh and he inherited Kellen Mond.

I would take any of those QBs over Kellen Mond

Forget the last 80 years. THIS IS THE YEAR!

I honestly don't get the love for Jamie Newman. In his last five games against crappy ACC competition (Clemson is the exception), he completed more than 50 percent of his passes only once. As difficult as it is to think, he's likely a DOWNGRADE from Jake the Joke Fromm.
Fairly certain he and a number of his WR were injured during this time.

He had Perine, what are you talking about no run support.
He had a slew of WR's who were seniors
And on your Oline he had 2 redshirt seniors and 1 redshirt Jr.
Stop your lies.
Our OL was ranked like 90th by PFF
I don't expect our OL to be great this year, but it should be better only losing one starter and getting the Mississippi State grad transfer.
Losing as many pro WRs as we did will certainly hurt but it's not like we're lacking in the talent department there. Pitts, Grimes, and Copeland should be a solid core of pass catchers. Pierce is a competent SEC RB even if he doesn't have the upside of some other SEC RBs.
Trask will be fine because he's a good QB

Hey stalker, been a while. Obviously you don't comprehend them meaning of rustled but I wouldn't expect anything less, carry on.

Yikes, and its not like there was a major talent upgrade needed to have hopes of major improvement.

That statue is getting too much praise for a guy who hasn't started since 8th grade and was fortunate to have a senior laden team on both sides of the ball.
Hell, anyone of us could have put up similar numbers.
Your hated for Florida is deluding your opinion. Trask is a very solid QB.
Floridas run game blocking was trash though despite have perine.

Brand new as in first year starters.
Once again you do not follow football if you think UF had a remotely good line.
Perine was a good receiving back but with how bad our Oline was, was ineffective running. Note why we had one of the worst third and short conversion percentages in the nation.
Trask is way better than your garbage shite show of a QB. Little nobody couldn't even complete fifty percent of his passes vs average competition towards the end of the year.

You said they were "brand new and bad". They had 3 upper class men and they only gave up 7 more sacks than UGA's line who was highly rated.
-- edit >> didn't see your "as in starters" comment.

your response lacks substance and shows you do little to no research.

You are still going on about this despite knowing his best wrs were out. That’s not a coincidence.

Returning a bunch of starters from a 5 loss football team doesn't make your team more talented just because they're older. It means a lot of draft eligible players weren't talented enough to declare. You have 5 4th year players starting on offense and have 7-8 4th year players starting on defense. So we're supposed to believe the light will just all of the sudden go on for players that have been in the program for 3 years or more already? If A&M had a team full of freshman and sophomores last year that showed a lot of promise, then maybe. But what they had was a bunch of RS Sophomores and Juniors that lost 5 games, beating no one with a pulse. Their best win was against 8-5, unranked, Oklahoma St in a bowl game. The overall record of teams they beat in the regular season was 27-58, none of which had a winning record.
