Top 25 QB’s Entering Next Season

Bryce Young already coming in at 25 and Mac Jones at 18.
Brennan at 24
Trask at 14 but I personally think should be higher
Mond at 12..? I don’t think anyone would choose Mond over Trask
Newman at 10... I’m still rolling with Trask personally. Newman and UGA’s offense is one of the biggest ??? Heading into next season. Could be great. Maybe the 10 ranking is based on potential.

Based on these standings, SEC is having a big down season when it comes to QB talent. I think we all knew this coming into this season. We just have a lot of Unknowns right now. By the end of the season, I bet we have an additional 1 or 2 QB’s break the top 15/top 10.

Would he be 10 if at Wake Forest still?

Yep. Like I said, we will have several emerge. Brennan has the potential to make a huge leap. As does Bryce Young if he ends up winning starting job. I think Mac Jones is at his ceiling, which isn’t a bad thing. Mac Jones is good enough to win every game on the schedule. I think Bama
Resorts back to a more punishing style of football. Ride Najee and let Mac Jones be an AJ McCarron game manger. It worked at well before.

Trask is already underated.

If Terry Wilson is healthy, he'll work his way up the list.

If Gatewood gets a waiver (probably not likely, but still possible), it'll be interesting to see where he falls in things too.

Trask has a solid shot at being one, if not the, best QB in the conference by season's end.

I agree that it's based on potential. I'll believe it when I see it.

This list is garbage. Ehlinger at four is all the evidence I need for this opinion.

I honestly don't get the love for Jamie Newman. In his last five games against crappy ACC competition (Clemson is the exception), he completed more than 50 percent of his passes only once.

As difficult as it is to think, he's likely a DOWNGRADE from Jake the Joke Fromm.

That statue is getting too much praise for a guy who hasn't started since 8th grade and was fortunate to have a senior laden team on both sides of the ball.

Hell, anyone of us could have put up similar numbers.

It all depends on if they're willing to modernize their offense or not. UGA has way more weapons than Wake Forest ever did, but you put Newman under center and throw the ball 20-25 times a game you'll get crap results regardless. I think UGA revolutionizing their offense or not is the story of the offseason. I think that's really their last step they need to take to really be that big time threat to win a title. Yes they were very close with the boring offense a few years back, but still, modernizing the offense would only make them a lot better and get more out of the higher skilled players.

No one truly believes Brennan is about to put up Burrow numbers. The kid is talented though with a rocket of an arm. He wont make as many plays with his legs as Burrow, and be able to buy time in the pocket like Burrow did. He should have a good season though.

Umm people who know football would.

Other thoughts.. Brennan too low and Ehlinger the Division 2 offensive guard playing qb Is about about 22 spots too high

Um...his offensive line was brand new and bad. Had no run support and had no time in the pocket.

Stop.

He had Perine, what are you talking about no run support.

He had a slew of WR's who were seniors

And on your Oline he had 2 redshirt seniors and 1 redshirt Jr.

Stop your lies.
