The infamous Texas Trial Group was co-counsel for the plaintiffs.

What's wild is that it isn't a group. It's one guy with a listed office in Puerto Rico...

I guess I don't understand why so many of these players are filing in states they have no connection to.

Isn't the address for that place actually a steakhouse?

This is probably what will happen in Louisiana, and lane simply won’t play them and this all goes away.

But I’ve certainly been wrong before.

This is what I get when I google the address of the firm from the Texas bar site:

Bottles - Dorado

quote:

After nearly three decades setting the standard in Puerto Rico's food and wine scene, Bottles expands its legacy with the opening of its new location in Dorado, a contemporary space that blends restaurant, wine bar, and it's signature Deli & Butcher Shop, offering a complete experience built around the joy of dining.

Every detail is designed to make you stay from the warm lighting to the inviting textures and the aromas rising from the kitchen.

This location also features exclusive areas including a Cigar Room, Poker Room, and two virtual golf suites, created for those who enjoy connection, leisure, and taste in equal measure.

Bottles Dorado redefines the art of gathering fusing fine cuisine, wine, and conversation in a space designed to linger, toast, and return.

But then what will the SEC Rant complain about?

And if I recall, Lane himself has said as much

Yeah, but what happens if the SEC is not successful on Thursday? I put it at 50/50 odds TBH.

What happens in that event? Do they play?

Not immediately. They will have to wait until game 2.

That's the million-dollar question.

I think LSU only rosters these guys if they feel REALLY CONFIDENT that they're going to ultimately have a leg to stand on legally. This isn't something you just take a chance on.

That's where this is headed. Lane is arrogant, but he's not stupid. When 15 university presidents are discussing kicking lsu out, the conference is threatening suspension of the coach and huge monetary fines, he's not going to risk it. The appeals court in Louisiana isn't going to rule against LSU, but I still don't see Lane rolling the dice on Friday.
