LSU fans and narratives. Take your purple glasses off and think about it.

Did the team feel like he abandoned them last season for taking another job in the middle of a historic run...YES some did....and some prob didn't care either way.

Does 2 players who chose to take the best paying and possibly only path to keep playing the game they love make the above statement false...NO.

these 2 player could have been 2 of the most vocal either way, but it had nothing to do with why they are at LSU now.

Well it’s either get paid to train for another shot at an NFL squad or find a job in the real world. Not sure these guys are salivating over getting an actual job and playing 32u rec football

Lane is abandoning players currently on the LSU roster by trying to pull this stunt. Perhaps other coaches aren't doing the same.

Thin at DT and TE and overall young on the DL. You don't know what you are talking about.

Why? Great question
It’s a matter of integrity and loyalty and it’s very uncommon in sports now. Money talks and money even talks louder than lsu. This isn’t an ole Miss issue at all

That guy did everything in his power to get to stay, AD would not allow. Fl and AU's new coaches got to do it, no problem. Bunch of bullshite.

Nobody in right mind would let him coach a team he was quitting on, not only quitting on but moving to a rival. That’s laughable to think any of you lsu fans would feel any different. And I sure wouldn't blame you

There are roster limits so unless he held spots open then someone is getting cut. Basic math.

Pretty simple solution, he could have not had conversations with LSU or Florida until the season was over and he would have bee allowed to coach in the playoffs. The ultimatum about signing an extension came after planes flew in from Gainesville and Baton Rouge to take his family to those cities and the governor of Louisiana starts talking about an hours long conversation with Lane Kiffin. Middle of an historic run for your team and your attention is clearly focused elsewhere. That was his choice and he had t right to do that. But "everything in his power", all he had to do was stay focused on the job he was being paid for and the team he was paid to coach during the season and he would have been allowed to coach. He quit on those kids the second he started having conversations with those other schools.
