Lane really didn’t have to out Ole Miss for pursuing Dae’quan Wright like he did.

Lane is abandoning players currently on the LSU roster by trying to pull this stunt. Perhaps other coaches aren't doing the same.

Maybe but 2 weeks before games start not sure if they will integrate in time. I don't think those 2 guys are going to change LSU's season outlook (whatever that is)

At the very least, they add quality depth to positions that were somewhat lacking in that category. It’s a huge win and why everyone is melting about it.

He didn’t give up on his players. OM tried to con him into a long-term contract to give him the chance to coach HIS team in the playoff. I would’ve told OM to F off as well

Wrong. These are now going to be new leaders that this team will need, since so many new faces. Why do you think he went after Dottery? Yeah he’s good player, but his leadership is what really stands apart.

All Ole Miss had to do was just let Lane coach the rest of the season. They could have had a better chance to win it all. And he walks ok he was gonna walk anyway at least you have a natty.

Did the team feel like he abandoned them last season for taking another job in the middle of a historic run...YES some did....and some prob didn't care either way.
Does 2 players who chose to take the best paying and possibly only path to keep playing the game they love make the above statement false...NO.
these 2 player could have been 2 of the most vocal either way, but it had nothing to do with why they are at LSU now.
