getting all the talented players they wanted or needed has never been a problem for Texas. None of the other coaches could do anything with the talent consistently. Sark is doing that....So I'd say it was a development issue or poor rankings or just being lazy and signing bunch of over rated players.
this draft is making the Georgia qb that transferred to Miami for another season making big money look like the smarter move.

I think he's done exactly what they drafted him to do...disrupt and be handful in the middle...not sack the qb. Hes a solid pro bowl poetential player every season.
I think if yall can get a couple RB's to produce like last year...and get average QB play the offense will be just fine. If the Defense can be almost as good...it could be a decent season.

The key will be to replace that RB production from last year...not Nico's average play.
prob have to go a little further and say we have blizzard conditions in the south as often.

everyone should.stop..they use the big 10 for some games, dont play in the conf championship game, they should be forced to go thru a conf like everyone else.
I wouldn't have auburn in my top 25...that's absurd.

I'd feel better abou OU than Auburn. At least OU brought in a proven OC and his QB that's been in that system.

AU has a good highschool recruit signed and a 5 star Sophmore than didnt preform too good...nothing about that screams top 10
California government is PETA for people

he's no Peyton Thorne....for sure. Thorn had some decent stats his first 2 seasons at Michigan State. All Jackson Arnold has is his 5 star high school status and 1 bad season as a starter
Billy knows he's on the hot seat....he's been there....not a secret.

If your job of a lifetime paying you 8 million a year was on the line would you trust yourself or someone else. I think thats what it boils down to at this point.

If he can win some games and get some confidence from the admin and fans I bet he'd look at hiring someone....but right now he prob feels like the still fighting for his life.

not me...if they win they will forever get the nod for a spot in the playoffs deserving or not. heck they get it now and they dont have to play a conf championship game...F that.

Thats a gig thats hard to turn down. Jones in an idiot...but outside of that its a cant say no type of job.

Wonder if they could deal Dak for some talent and draft Dart for little reunion there in Dallas.
I personally think the NCAA caved on the NIL because they knew they couldn't stop it....it was coming. But undoing the transfer rule and allowing unlimited was their way to sticking it to college football and letting kayos reign.

Teams could manager unlimited transfers or NIL...either or, but not both.

If it was just transfers teams prob have some player movement...but it would prob be 1/3 of what it is now.

if it was just NIL...teams could easily pay every one a structured amount based on whatever armaments they made with their team.
I feel the opposite is true. they are the reasons these teams are going to the champtionship game.
I think he might have tried to "evolve" his plan and message if he only had to deal with NIL or Unlimited Transfers...but not both. Either one you can still have some leverage and make it work, but with both you have zero leverage at all...the tails wagging the dog now.
I agree..riley lenard is a threat for sure with his legs. He always seems to make the right decision on when to run. if the dl get pushed out of their lanes and no one is open he's taking off. I bet he's made 50 first down's running the ball.
You program was fine when you fired Harrison...your talent index was inside the top 20. Higher than alot of teams who beat you.
Florida actually improved from the beginning to the season to the end...and closed out strong with a good bowl win.

Auburn never showed any improvement from start to finish. If you say they will be better it's just a guess based on recruiting rankings and portal guys they are bring in. They haven't show anyone anything that should give anyone hope.

I feel like after the Michigan loss Day pulled his nose out of the offense and let Chip Kelly have 100% control to do what he wanted to do and it's paying off.
I think losing them hurt beck alot more than most people thought as well..I feel like with those guys GA's offense would have operated like it should have and beck looks like the qb he should.
