Our D will perform....
The bottom line is whether our O Line shows up. My guess is they don't. If they don't, I hope Eli hands it to Hardy every time to avoid getting our 3rd string QB hurt.
I'm not sure I believe this but.....
Mizzou 27
A&M 24

Mizzou will keep A&M close but OU will go in dry. Mizzou won’t move the ball

Completely agree. Y’all have a solid defense that will make this competitive. Anyone’s game here but I think Mizzou walks away with the win.

If it's not Mr. Sideteam himself. What you gonna do when both of your teams get beat by Bama in consecutive weeks? Become a Bama fan?

I’d say Mizzou has about no chance to win this game.
Freshman QB, shaky OL, backup freshman kicker, poor OC playcalling. We’ll be lucky to keep this one close.

Nice try. I’m gonna jinx your jinx.
Mizzou is gonna upset A&M.

Aggy simply can't lose this game

Aggie DL overwhelming Mizzou OL. Texas A&M explosive offensive takes early 2 TD lead and coasts the rest of the game. I have no clue how this opened at -5.5 and only -7. Texas A&M is a terrible matchup vs Mizzou and game will be over by half as Mizzou is unable to get going on offense.

I love it when 'sip keeps bringing this up. It just shows how ignorant they are about football knowledge and/or how butt hurt they are about A&M having the season that they were supposed to be having.
No one knows whether A&M would have won or been outscored in the ND game had they not missed that extra point. Had they not missed it, the game would have been tied at the end of regulation and gone into overtime. Who knows what would have happened then.
Poooor vern, just showing his ignorance again

First order of business is stopping Hardy and getting their freshman QB behind the chains so that we can unleash Howell.

I agree. The jury is still out on this, but Elko seems to be the difference between what usually happens and what is happening now. I don’t think he allows a collapse to happen.

It'll be interesting to see if he's matched up over Keegan Trost.
These are season long grades...

The story is Mizzou's defense. That's it.
People score on Aggie. People score often on Aggie. This is not an issue. Starting QB, backup QB, or run from the pistol every play. You will score on Aggie.
Here's the catch - Aggie knows how to score. And thus far in 2025, they do it more often than their opponent.
This game is all about Mizzou defense. I've only seen one Mizzou game and their defense looked physical, but I have no idea how consistently good (or bad) they are.
Keep Aggie under 30 points, and Mizzou wins.

Isn’t your scoring average 23 points per game against SEC competition this year?

Dammit.....can we please check reality at the door?
What else can possibly go wrong this year...oh wait..we are Mizzou!

I think we have a decent chance to hold them under 30. In fact I would say that will happen. I think this will be the best defense they have seen, over Auburn.
But there is no way Missouri is scoring 30.
A&M 28
Missouri 17

So A&M and Mizzou. What’s the story of the game.
“Miraculous drive by the Mizzou true freshman quarterback to beat the Aggies as time winds down”
Reality though - young, talented QB pressured too many times and Mizzou unable to get the run game going.
Aggies 27
Tigers 18

defense is great. probably top four in the sec with auburn, oklahoma, and texas. great front seven and ok secondary. main weakness is the safeties who are very aggressive against the run, but not very fast. carnell is as big as a linebacker and catalon is as slow as one.
we've done a great job not giving up chunk plays, but when we have given them up, we've given up our share of very big plays. for example, we are #7 in the nation 10+ yard runs given up, but we are the only team to have given up two runs of 80+ yards. we have given up like 760 rush yards total and 160+ of those on two runs
however, if we can't protect zollers and can't get the offense going, i still see the defense getting worn down in the second half and a&m scoring 30+ points
