re: How can CFP commitee defend Tulane and JMU? (And what does this mean for future?)

They've both been as competitive as A&M.
A&M is the only team in playoff history to not score a single TD
JMU was far more competitive than A&M , and it wasn't close

Nobody is upset about Klein leaving
You should be upset about promoting a WR coach to OC instead of hiring someone with experience.
Can't wait to watch this disaster to unfold.

How many points is Miami scoring against OSU's defense? They barely put up 10 yesterday
Definitely more than 3

And even still, our teams won the same amount of playoff games this year.
Thats incorrect, we won a playoff game in 2025

For sure. He dominated the Sam Houston State game.
If only aggy could have defended him so well

All the ones I could think of were all State Level Programs, basically turned them into contenders, probably not a huge coincidence since they aren't typical destinations . Maybe these are more highly successful coaches who stayed at a non flagship school.
Peterson at Boise State
Synder at Kansas State
Gundy at Oklahoma State
Campbell at Iowa State
Patterson at TCU
Honorable mention for Elko at A&M

Beck has been cheeks against top 50 defenses. He's looked good in November, but they've played REALLY bad defenses all month.
I do think their best game would beat the best of most teams left in the field
At the same time Aggy defense has looked vulnerable against even just average offenses
arkansas, texas, the irish - maybe i'll be surprised but i think their defense is going to get embarrassed again this game

I've definitely seen the name pop up a few times since we hired Jobber Kabuke , but its hard to say if its wishcasting or not.

re: Who would be for AI taking over for SEC Officiating?

I'd like to see us start with some basics first, i think people handwave AI when simpler fixes are available
1. chip the fricking ball , way too much is a guess in terms of where it should go or how far it went
2. as another poster said, have transparent officiating discussions
the biggest use case for AI would probably be on various penalties, but man I think the game would get bogged the hell down. maybe limit it to pass interference , targeting , and false starts first before exposing it to holding
also i don't know what happened this year in particular, but it seemed like delays on offense just were not called anywhere, this should just be called automatically

These are the teams that have won a title since the BCS 1998
Tennessee (1)
LSU (3)
Alabama (6)
Auburn (1)
Georgia (2)
Florida (2)
During this time period Arkansas and Ole Miss winning BCS or Big Six games. No other conference even comes close to this. Mississippi State of all teams was actually ranked #1 in the AP during this time period.
Texas (1) and Oklahoma (1) as well , yes Big 12 but they dont belong anywhere else either

Fun Fact: Missouri has more wins for each of the last 1, 2, THREE seasons than LSU.

A&M will finally be able to start filling up their trophy room at least
discount tire seems more appropriate

Didn't they just survive this exact same situation a few years ago with some interim ?

isn't that also true of the the program if he's bad, they'll be Silverfricked ?
