Will Wade was in pursuit of Donovan Atwell if he was declared eligible but he decided to stay with Texas Tech as a super senior

No trolling on recruiting board. You should have been booted weeks ago.

That would be true if I wasn't just responding to people talking shite about Texas Tech :dunno:

This is the equivalent of Ed Oliver going to Houston

quote:

You said Brewster is better than Oliver

By what metric? Recruiting rank? There’s busts all the time. What I was saying is that Ed Oliver had a hell of a college and now pro career so saying a high schooler is better than a guy like Oliver is idiotic. Could he turn out to be better, sure. Is it a lock, absolutely not.

Like I said, you’re new to high profile recruiting so it’s ok to be a little behind the curve

You said it was the equivalent of Ed Oliver going to Houston. Jalen Brewster is much more highly touted at that same age.

watching you downvote my posts and upvote your own is pathetic

Ed Oliver was a top 10 draft pick.

Brewster is in highschool

I understand you are new to football but Brewster still has a lot of work to do to get there.

You weren't comparing the two at the same age? You are saying the guy a decade older is better? I'm not the moron trying to compare a high schooler to a professional athlete.

This is the equivalent of Ed Oliver going to Houston

Brewster is better than Ed Oliver and Ed Oliver went to high school in Houston. Not everyone dreams of going to LSU, I know thats painful for swamp trash to admit.
quote:

Or maybe he figured out that LSU will have 3 true freshman in the d line rotation so it'll be at least 2 years before he becomes a starter.

TT doesn't have a seat at the table. They have a chair outside the backdoor where they can try and make shady deals with the prospects that already decided they didn't want to be at the table.

bless your heart
quote:

95% or higher of recruits DGAF about being at the table when it comes to national championship consideration. They care about $ and starting. And that's okay, that's where the sport is right now. It doesn't mean TT is "at the table" when it comes to winning championships.

Exactly.
quote:

Have you reached acceptance that all of Cody's money won't buy you a national title or a seat at the big boy table?

It clearly has bought a seat at the table, hence recruits choosing Tech over LSU, but you already knew that.
quote:

Do you not have a tumbleweed to chase? You come in here acting like you're the smartest in the room and then act like a victim. What a pathetic loser

 I see a few of you have reached acceptance but looks like this clown is still at anger

You’re very insecure
quote:

Is this because of the gambling case?

They use that excuse but it covers for them with what happened to Texas last year losing to Ohio State and missing the CFP

They don’t gain anything by playing Tech but Texas A&M is afraid to play them in football that’s already known

Gaslighting at its finest. What a worm.

some of you are so simple minded, too much lead in the water down in the bayou I guess.

Steal any money from the children's hospitals lately? :doublebird:
quote:

TT schedule isn't going to do them any favors even if they win out or lose a game. If they finish 11-1 I don't think they get in with that charmin schedule.

 hot take

Lets talk more about Brewster being a Red Raider

So now you created an alter for some backup
NijaPlease? Pathetic.

Knew that was coming, no thats not me
backlash for something that never happened?

y'all are pathetic "we're better than these other conferences but we won't play them to prove it because if they beat us, which they won't, it would invalidate how we feel about us being better than them"

quote:

What teams has TT tried to schedule?

What good would playing a bottom tier team do for anyone in the running for anything win or lose?

Feel better now?
quote:

Texas Tech is not a serious option. They bring virtually nothing to a conference and the only reason they are "winning" now is because they are the biggest fish in a very small pond. We saw how competitive they actually were in the playoffs.

They never won the Big XII Championship in football while Texas and Oklahoma were in the conference. They were co-champs of the Big XII South division once under Leach but never played in the championship game. They won the SWC twice in almost 40 years and never as outright champions.

NIL is the difference
quote:

With that weak arse conference and even weaker out of conference schedule you would think they would go undefeated…it’s not like that play in a grown arse man conference like the SEC…

We've tried to schedule games but they've all been declined. Imagine the embarrassment if they lose to a lowly Big 12 team

quote:

Like I said before and I will say again, most likely Brewster will staywith TT, because Cody Campbell will pay any amount to keep him, but after this piss poor season TT will have, Brewster will enter the portal and transfer to LSU...

keep dreaming, Tech is going to go 11-1
