Meanwhile, many of the Indians that the SEC states kicked out and sent to Oklahoma.... they shed blood for the Confederacy. And the last confederate general to surrender was a Cherokee general from Tahlequah, IT. Stand Watie. For generations he was the Robert E. Lee of Oklahoma for pretty much all Okies who were sympathetic to the Lost Cause. Heck, I knew a dude that was named after him. And the dude I knew was born about 90 years after the war was over.
