f memory serves me, Sean P. was working at LSU and suddenly got a new job at Old Miss. Shea committed to OM. Seems to be a pattern with the Patterson family. Do not be deceived, Shea P. is a program changer at QB with proper support. Much like the walk on at OU.

Yes. LSU played the game and hired the brother while recruiting Shea.

I'm very curious to know how much he made at each stop.

Have to give props to lsu fans, they warned us about the family before he even committed. Shea is a great qb and seems to have a great head on his shoulders, but his family seems to put their interest above his. We don’t hire his brother, he probably ends up at bama, Texas or Michigan in the first place. Hope he decides to stay but if he is going to leave I hope he goes where he wants to go and for himself and not his family. He’s about to be 21, time to make decisions as your own man. Not his responsibility to keep his older brother employed. That said, harbaugh is probably the best qb coach in the country so it would be a good fit. I’m sure he didn’t like fans suggesting Ta’amu is better. I definitely believe Shea is better but there’s no denying Ta’amu seemed to have a better feel for the offense and taking the safer, less flashy option as opposed to going for it all. But no doubt shea with the right coach will be really successful

I think he was a grad assistant at LSU. I also like to know what he made and is offered.

I feel like there will be major clashing between Harbaugh and the Patterson family. They all seem to have pretty strong personalities and want things their way.

Patterson is highly overrated. The backup qb at ole miss looks better to me and I believe that has more to do with him wanting to leave than anything. He's one of those players that peaked in high school I believe. I wouldn't be too excited about landing shea if I were michigan. I'm sure ole miss fans would tell you the same.

Shea is a good QB, and on a winning squad, I could see him being a great college QB. I agree with you on our back up QB Ta'amu, he's looked better than Shea. He played with more maturity and confidence imo. The worst thing about Shea imo, is how down on himself he is and it transitions throughout the entire team. He breaks down bad mentally when things don't go his way.

Life is gonna come at Sean Jr. fast when Shea moves on and nobody has any more use for him.

I don't understand why Patterson would want to go Michigan. There are a lot of other offenses better suited for his skill set.

Dude is definitely talented. Wish he'd look at TCU.

This is actually pathetic for the older brother. Does he not have enough talent to where his little brother has to pull his arse along in life?

Exactly., I mean it was understandable at first, but it just makes him look almost as a joke..

In the beginning his brother was with Arizona (the first team Shea verbally committed to)

It isn't his brother pulling the strings it is the father of both kids. Whenever Michigan plays bad it isn't because of Shea but the team. Look up some rants on Sean Patterson Facebook page this season. Jordan Ta'amu was better than Shea this season and if he gets his medical redshirt season from his first year in Juco he would have 2 years left to play just like Shea. Shea is a good QB but he isn't a program changer like scouts in high school thought he was. When Jordan Ta'amu played well it pissed the Patterson's off and it was the end of Shea Patterson at Ole Miss. Michigan is gonna have their hands full with Sean Patterson.

I cannot ever imagine Nick Saban having a creepy arse sleepover with a recruit, either.

Screw their hypocrite fans. Bitching that UGA only landed Wilson because we hired his coach, which we did not. I bet they're singing Harbaugh's praise for this "genius" move.

Shea is a good QB but he is scared to compete. He’s had the starting job handed to him wherever he goes his whole life; he probably could earn it straight up, but his dad wheels and deals to make sure he doesn’t have to. Ta’amu on the other hand is the exact opposite. He had 0 offers out of high school and busted his arse in juco just to barely get an offer from Ole Miss. Made the most of his opportunity when Shea got hurt and the team respects the hell out of him for it and now he’s one of the top QBs in the SEC.

The most telling thing about Shea is how the hell could you leave the WRs we have here? DK and AJ both could start on any SEC tomorrow and Lodge and Jefferson are as good as any WRs Ole Miss has ever had too. They have probably made Shea look a little better than he is at times. If we can get Ta’amu an extra year of eligibility from when he tore his ACL his freshman year in juco after 1 game and didn’t redshirt we will be just fine without him.

Shea is a good kid, the family is all about getting themselves 1 up though. Sean sells out the highest bidder, and they convince Shea to follow him.

This guy has made more money off his brother's arm in 3 years than I will in 10.
