It does appear that Shea Patterson to Michigan has a very real chance of happening and there's another new development that points toward that.

It's believed that Shea and his brother Sean Patterson are a bit of a package deal. Sean is the senior player personnel analyst at Ole Miss and was mentioned as part of the Shea package back during Shea's recruitment as well. It now looks like the Michigan staff and others could get creative in finding a new role for Sean that would make the package and the family happy.

There are still a lot of moving parts with this development, and the entire situation in general, so some details are definitely not concrete. Stay tuned for more information surrounding all of it in the coming days.

LOL I'm trying to imagine the national media reaction if Saban did something this blatant with a high level transfer.

His brother leads the way for all of Shea’s moves. The kid has moved around every two years for football.

This is actually pathetic for the older brother. Does he not have enough talent to where his little brother has to pull his arse along in life?

Patterson is highly overrated. The backup qb at ole miss looks better to me and I believe that has more to do with him wanting to leave than anything. He's one of those players that peaked in high school I believe. I wouldn't be too excited about landing shea if I were michigan. I'm sure ole miss fans would tell you the same.

Have you seen what Michigan has been playing at QB? Shea is a major improvement for them.

What is Shea's brother going to do for work in a few years once Shea goes pro?

If you can't see how much better Shea is then you have a terrible understanding of football.

If memory serves me, Sean P. was working at LSU and suddenly got a new job at Old Miss. Shea committed to OM. Seems to be a pattern with the Patterson family. Do not be deceived, Shea P. is a program changer at QB with proper support. Much like the walk on at OU.

Sad for Sean, using his younger brother.
