I don’t blame the Browns for drafting Sanders in the 5th round. If he sucks you can cut him in preseason and still get a QB next year. If he’s decent you got him for 4 years on a rookie contract.
This class was loaded at RB, DL, and CB. I think those three position groups will have a ton of quality players from it. I think this class didn’t have enough top end talent outside of Hunter and Carter. Next years class doesn’t look any better right now. 2027 though has a chance to be one of the best drafts in some time.
Browns and Chargers have both had really good drafts. If the Browns can get a QB next year look out. A lot of teams I feel like have done a good job this year in the draft.
If Harris stays healthy he might be the best WR in this draft. He was the best WR in college football when he played last year.
It has nothing to do with Deon or the interviews as much as the physical limitations in his game. His arm strength is below average and he’s really inaccurate on throws over 40 yards. He’s not a threat to run the ball at all and has very questionable pocket awareness. He would have the weakest arm for a first round pick since Mac Jones.
Dart is only 21 and physically he has strong enough arm and enough athleticism to be a good NFL QB. If the Giants give him enough time to develop they could have their QB of the future. The Giants got the best player in the draft with Carter and maybe their future QB.
Dart is more athletic and has a stronger arm than Sanders. I’m not sure what Sanders does that’s better than Dart. Dart was clearly the 2nd best QB in a very weak draft.
Giants are drafting Dart.
NFL draft experts have all been dropping hints that Sanders has at best below average arm strength. I’m not surprised he’s dropping because QBs with questionable arms don’t typically go very high in drafts.
Sanders has a noodle arm and isn’t very athletic. The last QB that went that high like that was Mac Jones. He might have one of the worst falls a QB has had in some time.
AJ Storr the Kansas transfer just committed. He was one of the top players in the portal last year but struggled this past season at Kansas. He was 2nd team all big 10 just two years ago at Wisconsin.
Yeah we only have 6 players currently on scholarship. We need not only impact transfers but also need to fill the roster with depth pieces.
Beard flirted with Arkansas last year and he used that job for a new contract and more NIL money. Arkansas is a better job than Texas A&M anyway. He’s probably gonna at least us A&M like he did Arkansas for the same thing. I don’t think he’s going to A&M unless he really wants to move back to Texas.
Ole Miss basketball has Raising Cane’s thread.
I don’t think the money will be a deciding factor for Beard that much. This comes down to how much he wants to move back to Texas. The worst part if he left is the timing is terrible. We basically would be the last big program to hire a basketball coach. I think if it happened the two candidates would be AK and Mike White.
Blue bloods aren’t getting their choice of players though. It’s coming down to who offers the most money for transfers and high school players now. It’s easier now than ever to flip rosters in college sports with the transfer portal.
I think this game comes down to our 3 point shooting and not getting killed on rebounds. We’ve been red hot from three this tournament and Michigan State is one of the best teams at defending the 3 ball. We just can’t let Michigan State out rebound us by double digits. Whatever happens this has been a hell of a basketball season and better seasons will come as long as Beard is here.

Best American NBA prospect since maybe Zion and you can make an argument his game translates better in the NBA.
You can make an argument that this is the best Ole Miss basketball team of all time. The fact that it only took two years for Chris Beard to accomplish this is incredible.
That’s gotta be a flagrant on Baylor. That’s a textbook hook and hold.
