Patterson is highly overrated. The backup qb at ole miss looks better to me and I believe that has more to do with him wanting to leave than anything. He's one of those players that peaked in high school I believe. I wouldn't be too excited about landing shea if I were michigan. I'm sure ole miss fans would tell you the same.
I am an Ole Miss fan and all your little drivel proves is exactly how frickING STUPID YOU ARE! You obviously know little to nothing about football nor the QB position because the kid has a ton of talent but also comes with the football version of “keeping up with the Kardashians”. I know the guys who coached him in HS and they warned me the Shae is a great kid but his dad is a cancer and this has proven true. I wish him the best of luck and hope he can learn from Harbaugh. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening. I bet a dime to a dollar that after he signs and lands in Ann Arbor, Harbaugh will say “learn to compete and will then explain to Sean that his roll is to make donut runs until he can prove he is 1/2 competent”.

Jim has hired the friends and family of most every star player he has recruited since he landed at Go Blue. He might need to go visit the Pope again soon. Both of them are having a tuff year.

A QB transfer NOT going to Auburn?
I'm not sure AU fans want a QB that's had multiple years under Malzahn. Shea to AU would have fixed that.

Did they not just pass some kind of rule about hiring a coach within a two yr period of a player or does this only effect high school players?

His brother looks like such a loser in this

Would/could there be a difference in a recruit vs a transfer on that rule?

Michigan just finished 4th in the Big 10 East. Harbaugh knows he has to win soon.

frick Harbaugh
Yep, I hate that crap. There really should be a NCAA restriction against luring players through financial favors to family members.

Re the brother: he was caught stealing LSU game tapes prior to Shea officially committing to the Black Bears. Living at the time in an LSU owned facility, his clothes & other belongings were literally tossed out in the street. A pure punk. Luke better change the keys on the film room sooner better than later.

Yea no Harbaugh is not the best QB coach in the country. I am having a hard time remembering a single QB that plays in the NFL that Harbaugh coached in college.

I feel bad for Shea Patterson from everything I've heard it sounds like his dad is pushing him to Michigan. Shea's family treats him like a hired gun. I don't think Shea ever got to make a decision for himself in his life yet. If you've ever met Shea's brother Sean he will let you know that Shea is his brother.

I asked about this back in July:
Would OM just transfer payments on the coast house to the next school?
I'm fuzzy on how these contracts work.
We were assured by rebs that Shea loves Oxford and all the transfer talk is a bunch of malarkey.

Shea played for 3 teams in HS, he committed to 3 different colleges, and now he’s going to play for at least 2 college teams.
His father benefited from better jobs while Shea was transferring in HS. His commitments changed following the hiring of his brother, and now his transfer also is dependent on his brother.

Nah, he'll go there for one semester then quit school and go to Arizona or California to train for the combine. We can only hope he ends up in Cleveland on a 4 year contract and freezes his nads off there.
