In what fricking universe is Aggie in the Big 6?
OU and Texas are storied programs, and will probably win conference championships eventually, but the criteria is what it is. Auburn, UF and UT are members of the Big 6.

You are who your record over the last two years says you are. Anything beyond 2 years ago is completely irrelevant in the portal era.
Didn't you just watch Indians win a NC?

Exactly what you said.
Show us you can do it in the SEC

Yeah, ok. Two years. Welcome to the SEC. Y’all can’t even pay enough money to do anything.
Jimbo needs another check btw

And what exactly has Aggie done in the past two years other than beat a UGA girls tennis team?

Terrible list. If South Carolina is mid 6 then Kentucky must be Big 6 because their program is trash.

Depends on the sport, these charts, polls are all subjective.
The big 6 is historic, doesn't change over a year or even a decade.
If you look at the real criteria for the big 6 it should be based on overall strength of the athletic program, not one sport.

The Big 6 of... what?
Texas and OU have great histories, but they have no football nor basketball titles since joining the SEC.
I'm not interested in their Big 12 titles. That conference was basically a two-team conference for its entire existence.

Well, we're 5-2-1 against Alabama, so I suppose that puts us in the discussion.

Tiers vs Tears
T1 - have played and won in Atlanta first weekend of December -
Alabama Auburn Florida Georgia LSU Tennessee
T2 - have played and not won in Atlanta first weekend of December
Arkansas Mississippi State Missouri South Carolina Texas
vs
Tears - have not played in Atlanta first weekend of December
time is running out for this group due to the SECCG getting axed for a circus CFP -
Kentucky Ole Miss Oklahoma Texas A&M Vanderbilt

Both Oklahoma and Texas have scoreboard on Bama...
But Bama has beaten OU three times ('62,'18, 25).
But it is ridiculous to hold OU and Texas to some SEC standard based on a two year sample size.

I’ve heard that the list in the OP is official and cannot be argued or modified.

Texas has a winning record against every SEC team in football except SC and Vanderbilt.
5-8-1 vs. Vanderbilt
0-1 vs. SC
Both of these will be corrected soon.
I haven't looked it up, but I bet it's about the same or better for baseball and basketball.
