The SEC has three nattys this decade and so does the B1G. If you look at it over the entire century it is much worse for the B1G.

How about since the playoff expanded? You know, the tournament games?

Teams that have not won a playoff game in the last 2 seasons:

Teams that have not won a playoff game in football or NCAA tournament game in the last 2 seasons despite making both the football playoff and basketball tournament:

Yeah, it's embarrassing to lose a Natty. We're 6-3 in title games, which isn't terrible, but still sucks to have had any losses in that column.
But can we talk about the fact we have had 9 national title game appearances and also having 9 playoff appearances since the playoffs became a thing, including post-Saban...that's pretty INSANE, I'd hate us too.
