Also it's been proven over and over again that a very good coordinator doesn't necessarily make a good coach but then I guess he has to learn somewhere and it is his alma mater after all.

Getting rid of the committee and going back to something closer to the BCS model would do a lot to help people's trust.

That that said and speaking of the committee, Bama fans need to start to prepare no matter what they have said to be left out if you lose.

I think LSU is tied for 2nd with tOSU with titles in the last 25 and are among the winningest while being in the SECW. They are up there.
