And yet we accomplished more than them by winning the SEC.

Alabama has played in 9 natties since 2000 (actually since 2009) and is 6-3. UGA has played in 3 and is 2-1. We're good.

We haven’t lost to any ACC teams in nattys though. That’s pretty embarrassing.

You won the lotto and played TCU in one.

And you're 1-1 vs BAMA. And your 1 win was a miracle 4th qtr comeback after being fricking curb stomped in the SECCG weeks before.

Pipe down.

2nd & 26? Yeah. But BAMA has the curb stompings to go along with the miracles. Uga? Not so much.

Again. Pipe down.

UGA hasn't lost to a team from any conference in the playoffs other than the SEC.

They lost to Bama once in the 4-team playoff (championship game), Notre Dame in the 12 team playoff and Ole Miss in the 12 team playoff. All are either in the SEC or independent.

Both the losses to SEC teams came in years UGA won the SEC. Actually so did the ND loss.

Georgia's NC win against Bama was a miracle? Have you forgotten what a miracle it was that your team had their own miracle win against Georgia for the national title?

Notre Dame is basically ACC.

So yeah. Good call.

No. I already addressed it.

BAMA has multiple embarrassing beat downs of uga to go along with that.

That is pretty impressive to have that many national title game appearances, and titles to go with 6 of them.

It's also impressively absurd the number of total championships your school claims because they were named #1 in some defunct, obscure poll.

By that logic, LSU could also claim the 1908, 1936, 1962, and 2011 National Championships but choose not to do so.

I wish. If ND was actually in the ACC they would have won that conference and we wouldn't have had both Tulane and JMU in the playoff last year. That extra spot probably would have gone to Texas.

Ole Miss would have gotten to play Texas in Round 1.

I do respect the SEC's new philosophy of you can't lose to a different conference in the championship game, if you don't make the championship game.

Well, the SEC missed the national title game this century:
2000
2001
2002
2004
2005
2014
2023
2024
2025

IOW, the conference has been to the national title game 17 of 26 seasons

The Big 10? They've been 8 times
The ACC? 8 times
The Big 12? 9 times
The Pac 10? 5 times
The Big East? 2 times
Notre Dame has been twice

There has been an All-SEC final twice, so you really could bump up that 17 number to 19 if you want to get techincal

To be entirely honest, I never reference those alleged championships or really acknowledge them. But those games also happened before my time, so I don’t have any attachment to claiming them. Maybe that’s blasphemy as a Bama fan to admit.
