All I know is Oklahoma's stadium looks like a high school stadium on steroids.

I agree. No tougher place to win a road game in the SEC than Tiger Stadium.

Unless, of course, you're BAMA.

no other stadiums in the big 12 held anything more than 60k.

Yikes! Bama, LSU, Tenn, A&M, and I think UGA all hold at least 100k. Auburn packs about 90k give or take. Even Ole Miss and Mississippi State bring in more than 60k.

This is true. LSU fans are good people. I’ve also had fun at Auburn.

When you go to Mississippi State bring ear plugs. The cowbells are loud and obnoxious.

And you’ll love the Vandy Whistlers

That crowd sits on their hands way too much for a school of their stature.

True. The blue hairs think it’s a golf game or something. It’s crazy. I mean I’ve heard that place get absolutely louder than any where I’ve heard before (vs Florida in 05 and Auburn in 08.) But the noise is subpar for that stadium

Just exclude Texas and OU

Well obviously... because as of this thread, neither was part of the SEC.

I think when OU/Texas join and we get better consistent home games vs what we had in the big 12 we will get a better idea of how good our crowds can be.

Initially I think OU will be in the top half in terms of stadium/fans for sure with Texas somewhere in the middle with regards to both.

I'm very interested to how loud our stadium can become with better home schedules and the south endzone being more enclosed to trap sound. In the past sound escaped out of the south endzone due to how it was constructed.

Overall, it's lsu, and it's really not close. Other programs can't compete with that. Sorry, It's the truth. It's one of the greatest sporting venues in the world. Period.

Alabama loves playing there. We consider it our second home stadium.

Ole Miss has a great tailgating experience, which I think you are allowing to cloud your judgement in saying it's a better stadium than Williams-Brice. Sorry, I've been - it isn't.

Of the ones I've been to (I'll exclude LSU):

1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. Texas
4. Texas A&M
5. Arkansas
6. Mississippi State
7. Ole Miss

I don't know if I can rank them per se but I like LSU's, Bama's and A&M's the best. I also really like Arkansas' (Fayetteville) stadium

Despite our recent decade, our stadium is pretty damn nice. We may have lost almost all of the games, but it didn’t stop us from wasting money on new amenities.

1. LSU — TIGER STADIUM
With the stadium lights off and the sun down, there isn’t anything in college football as memorizing as an LSU Football game at Death Valley. Another stadium with a capacity over 100,000, LSU fans love college football as much as anyone in the sport. And when the Tiger band joins in and plays, “Neck,” — a song that has been deemed a bit controversial in recent years — the crowd is as loud as it is all game long.

“I'm an outsider, so to speak. Didn't grow up in Louisiana, but was an SEC diehard growing up and Saturday Night in Death Valley was always at the top to go to. I moved down to start covering LSU in 2016, Les Miles' final few games, Ed Orgeron's interim year. My first game I got to see live was LSU vs. Mississippi State. I opted to shoot pictures for some of that game. Nick Fitzgerald and the Bulldogs were backed up to their own 1-yard line in the endzone I shot from. I've never heard anything that deafening before that snap. There's been moments since then that topped it, of course, which says a lot. Whether it's Callin' Baton Rouge pregame, when LSU takes the field, or "Neck" on occasion, it's all a part of what makes LSU as good as it gets as far as an atmosphere.” — Billy Embody, Geaux247

Arkansas has great all-around facilities including the stadium. DKR, on the other hand, is a complete frankenstein, WTF construction ...

No other way around it, from a construction point of view it is "something". Maybe you should tear it down and rebuild the entire monstrosity

Okahoma's actually looks like a stadium ...
