True. I hope they wouldn't lie and call a kid drug dealer just to help them shoot their troll load.
The amount he possessed is drug dealer territory. You don't carry that much for personal use.

Herman was the hot name, the interim AD was bullied by his fellow Houston alumni into that hire. There was no coaching search when Herman was hired because he was the chosen one by the Houston alumni. There is a guy currently at Florida who appears to have been the better coach of those two who was available at the time.

Most SEC athletic departments are self sustaining, right? Meaning they take no payments or money from the state they reside in or academic side of the university?

The move to the SEC is going to help Oklahoma have more net income and also allow them to improve their campus on the academic side as they'll be able to donate more back to that side of the university. They will also be able to improve their athletic facilities overall.

Enough to make Texas crawl on its hands and knees to Birmingham and beg to join the conference all while slobbering down on the big ole SEC chode in y’all’s mouths!

Roughly $45mil
roughly you take the 10 million hit but it’s estimated the ROI is greater than that once we join. Early estimations from behind the scenes is 55-65 million a season. The high high end has been estimated at 70 million.
Now do you really want people posting stuff your your message boards?
You don't think that they already had feelers to the PAC and BIG?

They have to say 2025 legally, just ignore that date as it's not important.

All we know today is that Oklahoma and Texas have stated their intent to be out of the Big 12 by 2025. And that they prefer the SEC.

I still won't be surprised if Texas ends up in the PAC-12, when all is said and done.

What? Our BoR literally just approved the move. It's official. Now we just let the lawyers from Texas/OU/SEC figure out the buyout and real start dates.
I think if we have pods we'd keep all 3 of our rivals in Oklahoma, A&M, and Arkansas.

I'm interested who SEC would give us as a cross pod/division rival.

Yeah, well, is it really necessary to teach birth control to the illegal aliens at halftime on yours, complete with the world’s biggest prop just below it?

haha

The only time I'd be cool with it from and OU perspective is after winning the Big 12 title game this year and peace-ing out with a big 'frick you' to the conference.

My dream is both of us playing in the Big 12 title game this year as one last f you to the Big 12.

You are correct, we did just finish 4th in the entire country. When’s the last time Texas did that?
Lets be honest, if you weren't in the CFB Playoff you weren't really in the top 4.

I predict pain, much more pain.

I hope so...our athletic department and boosters need to be punched in the mouth so they realize they need to wake the hell up for the 21st century.

It’s not how big it is, it’s how you use it.
That's what people with little scoreboards always say...

This was from graduation in the spring. I'm sure when football season rolls around it will be covered in ads.

55.85’ high by 134.38’ wide, total more than 7,505 square feet, and the video display will feature more than 2,723,840 physical pixels, according to ANC, the company that won the contract to install the video board

Texas is focusing too much on who the coach is. It’s not the coach who holds them back. It’s all the admins who allow the boosters to have their hands in the cookie jar.

They need to get the cronyism out and get everyone on the same page. Until then, no coach will save them and they’ll continue to be underachieving.
Actually 100% agree with this. I wouldn't say it's the boosters, entirely, but the entire athletic department is bloated with dinosaurs collecting a paycheck.
