Appropriate Resolution: HC suspended and bowl ban seems appropriate. Sorry not sorry, Coonasses....
By the looks of that statement if Sankey could he would.
But he can’t because we run Congress.
And we are the biggest brand in football at this moment

You showed them by not rostering those players. Don't mess with LSU.
The Media made this bigger than it was. LSU (including Kiffin) stated from get-go they would abide the rules of the SEC. However, Sankey and (apparently) a few others panicked and instead of getting on the phone to discuss what was going on and working things out, they went nuclear.
The only thing the was "showed" in all of this is the SEC's butt!
LSU was never an issue in any of this...

That just tells me it’s over. The adults in the room told Sankey and UTk Karen to shut the frick up.
That statement reads like the SEC is praying this just foes away
I’d bet a mot of money a bunch of SEC presidents started wondering out loud if Sankey and TN president had misled them and put their schools and potentially themselves at risk of liability and this empty statement is their face saving way of dropping the whole thing.

Lane and LSU tucked their Tiger tail and added 2 walk-ons instead of the NFL players they wanted...cause they were scared of the SEC
LSU looks like the little bitches for stirring all this up and still didn't get what they wanted
You could not be more retarded if you tried.
Reliford and Anding are scholarship and were recruited. Both are coming off injuries.
SEC just showed they are scared of us. You sound like you are too

Releford is injured and would start for pretty much every team in the conference.

They want the Lane suspension to keep him away from the Ole Miss game. Probably a 1 week only suspension announced after Saturday.

they are scholarship players who were going to be starters but are injured. I thought Georgia Grads were supposed to be smart?

LSU/Lane made a business decision.... risk vs. reward.

Again, people don't understand..... the SEC has been sitting on their hand the entire time with the entire ineligible player and TRO situation. You can go from Bama BB bringing in their ex-pro to Chambliss.... to Pavia... etc etc. So they thought it would be the same in this situation. TRO was granted and then the SEC decides to not take it anymore. Lane said he wouldn't go against the SEC..... he just wanted to see if the SEC was going to stand strong or treat this like all the other ineligible players. They didn't waiver so Lane/LSU decided to drop it and stay true to what they said and follow the SEC's rule.
Now the SEC get's to fight a Civil suit from the players for going against the TRO by preventing LSU from putting them on the roster. So who really won?? Nobody. But the SEC might lose a monetary civil battle to the players.
And even still... the SEC is not handling ineligibility and TRO's equal but whatever. They showed everyone who they are!

They just punted any penalty decisions until courts chime in, I'm assuming.
I still think they're going to go for their pound of flesh even LSU broke no rules and there is no proof of any kind of LOIC. They just don't like Landry, Rousse, Kiffin, and Wade. It's about feelings.

1. Wow that’s a week arse statement.
2. Haha at the posters thinking LSU and Lane get punished.
3. Spot the ball and lube up Ole Miss because LSU is going to rape you.
