You've been wrong about literally everything since November of last year. May the streak continue.

It has certainly been a series of peaks and valleys for our LSU fans these past couple of weeks. Looks like they are ascending again after "putting it to the man."
Kudos.

Kudos.

Lol... I am not emotional about it either way. Most interesting thing to happen here in some time.
I am enjoying the silliness from both sides. It has been pure entertainment watching this All SEC melt - countermelt saga unfold.

They made threats and got what they wanted. You going to sue them for not levying penalties?
No, players are suing them. We’re going to sue them if they sue us.

I don't think the conference gives a rip how they look to a group of people that for the most part never even attended a member institution.
The conference definitely cares how they are viewed by federal government as they actively pursue an antitrust exemption.
If you think this saga hasn’t damaged chances of PCSA passing, you’re a moron.
Georgia fans lol.

It is funny that you see the Louisiana Congressional Delegation as "the federal government". Nobody outside of Louisiana cares what Senator Foghorn Leghorn has to say. You do realize the rest of the SEC is in states with Congressional delegations as well, right? And most of them outnumber Louisiana's delegation. But do tell us, what would you consider Senator Kennedy's signature legislative accomplishment? Does he have any or just a nice collection of soundbytes? The world doesn't revolve around LSU pal

Slow down cowboy, nobody said anything about the Louisiana congressional delegation.
They look OBJECTIVELY stupid to the federal government… because they’re requesting antitrust exemption… while running around defying court orders, badly writing new rules, filing frivolous federal lawsuits, selectively enforcing their own rules, and now pointing to the fact their bylaws allow them to punish or exclude parties without evidence or arbitration.
“Please exempt us from the law and trust us with a pass to suppress free trade — because you know, we have such a long and storied history of showing we are fair and responsible and should be trusted with such absurd authority”.
ncaa is so mad at kentucky they're going to give Cleveland State two more years of probation.

If you even support the PCSA you’re a moron. It’s not going to pass.
If it does, get ready to replace a few “lawsuits” with lockouts etc.

Yes, because the Federal Government is the model for cool headed logic. Furthermore there is about to be a pretty good shift in the leadership in Congress so who knows how it will end up.

Again, I am not making an argument about the “who” but the “what”.
There is no partisan split on whether the NCAA deserves to be rewarded with an antitrust exemption. It’s clear to most objective parties that the state of the league is 1000% due to the NCAA’s own incompetence and hard headedness.
Two of the biggest elephants in the room regarding antitrust exemption are the NCAA’s history of selective enforcement + the NCAA’s choice to double down resisting NIL instead of preparing for it.
The 5-for-5 rule’s implementation regarding the class of 2022 is a great example of them still continuing to be incompetent governors.
This fiasco with the SEC is an example of their continued selective enforcement… noted on record by a judge… then they tried to circumvent this with a federal suit (federal judges don’t like this). To cap it off, the SEC did all of this to circumvent a federal order against the NCAA. It’s circumvention-ception. The federal govt will view this as insubordination whether any of it goes to a judge or not… while in the background, they’re simultaneously asking for an exemption from federal law lol.
I think at one point there was a slight chance it would pass and they would at least be allowed to create a salary cap.
But after this mess, I seriously doubt it.

But if LSU was in such a strong position and everyone else was wrong, why did they yield to what the SEC wanted? And what other representatives. I gave links and quotes. Where are yours?
