OU couldn't make it through the BIG XII without losing a couple of games they should've won. It would take a historically bad year for the SEC for the Sooners to win the conference.

Texas and Oklahoma only played each other once in a conference championship game in the Big 12. It’ll be a long time before they ever meet in a conference championship again…

If there was ever a time to NOT want to play Mizzou and Ole Miss, it is 2024. On the road no less against coaches who will absolutely DRAG you if they get the chance.

With our schedule, O-line rebuild and baptism by fire for QB1 I wouldn’t be upset with that finish. Just keep the wagon axels greased and stay on path.
