I don't have an opinion because I don't know if he's any good or not.

I'm sure he'll do well.

I like having former SEC QBs on the call - McElroy and Palmer are two of my favorites.

Now they just need to hire chest tat so we can have the dynamic duo of QBs that were completely carried by the rest of their team the entirety of their career.

I’m 100% certain that he will over annunciate every word just like McElroy and Rogers.

What's amazing is that Quinton Dial did not get a suspension from the Sec office even after they reviewed everything. He got to play in the title game while others in the Sec got suspended for FARRRRR less and even very questionable calls.

Did he ask his Daddy if he could take this job?

Aaron does a great job. Gives good insight. I’m glad to see this. He was very underutilized on CBS.

It's his voice and delivery that don't translate well to broadcasting. I love AMFM and he was a great QB for us, but he's not big time broadcast material.

What? I knew some knucklehead would bring this up.
The play had not been blown dead and targeting didn't come into play until the next season. Once upon a time QB's could be hit.

Now, if you want to discuss some of Nick Fairleys antics in 2010......

But, in the video, he wasn't even looking in the direction of the hit, nor had the ball...hince the debate.

That play was the #1 reason for the rule change.
It was borderline within the rules at the time (unsportsmanlike conduct had been called when a football play was made with intent to injure). But you are correct. There was no targeting to the head or spearing call at the time.

Murray gets a ton of grief. But he never complained during his playing days other than to say, "come on". Obviously, UGA fans have taken great exception to the lack of protection afforded to our QB.

That play is illegal now, but it wasn't illegal at the time.

Thing is you are supposed to look around for that until the play is dead. "Keep your head on a swivel", is how my high school coach taught us.
