Do you really think that any school is going to give up that much revenue to prove what they think is a point? It is never going to happen dipstick
If they felt it would cost them more money in the long run absolutely.
And we know this is a foreign concept to you as an LSU fan, but some people choose to do the right thing even if it costs them some money.

Well you're a fan of a lower mid tier SEC school, of course you wont miss LSU beating your arse yearly.

I got downvoted to infinity and called every insult LSU fans here could think of for posting that backroom conversations had already been had by SEC chancellors and ADs about boycotting LSU this season and possibly expelling them from the conference.
It's "The Boy Cried Wolf." Every single one of your posts or replies is about how horrible LSU is-- even if the post is by an Auburn fan talking about the 1997 Georgia-Auburn game. Maybe if you weren't so obsessed with LSU people would take you more seriously.

I wouldn't expect schools to give up a home game by cancelling games against LSU. However, a Louisiana state court judge would be powerless to compel LSU's visiting SEC opponents (A&M, State, Bama, and Texas) to go to Baton Rouge (as state institutions, they are all protected by sovereign immunity), and the SEC could even change the status of those games to "no contest" (like games cancelled due to covid) rather than a forfeit without "penalizing" LSU.
Oh yes, i’m sure ESPN/ABC and the sponsors would have no issue whatsoever if Alabama and Texas decided to just not show up for their games this year against LSU.
How do you people even come up with this stuff?

Most of them have an IQ that could be measured using only the numbers on a yard stick.

Ain't nuttin gonna happen beside a lot of talk. But, it would be funny as hell, if SEC schools refused to play LSU and Ole Miss. Maybe the could play each other 5 or 6 times.

Alabama had a guy play on their basketball team that witnessed a murder. Nothing to see there, #JustDifferent.

I don’t know. Y’all will be out of the SEC before LSU would be. “Thems the facts”.
So, Disney isn’t going to have a problem with this? Was any of this cleared with them before the SEC went and stepped in it again?
You do know the SEC signed a few billion dollar contract with them right? They also would have to replace LSU immediately with a similar brand. What brand can the SEC ACTUALLY get to fill LSU’s spot after showing you’ll kick out a conference member for following a court order? There is no bigger brand than LSU that would come to the SEC.
That would be even IF Disney agreed to it.

An undefeated SEC year with no risk for injury? Oh, please don't threaten us, daddy.

I seriously doubt any of this happens, especially the expulsion part. Just sounds like a lot of posturing to me.
Posted on 8/31/26 at 1:32 pm to WG_Dawg
The punishment will be somewhere between expulsion and nothing. Quite the gamble for depth players.

Disney will want to stay on good terms with the SEC. If LSU is stupid enough to pursue this to the end, then Disney will have to pick a side, and it will be 15 against 1.

What about teams playing players who have used up all of their eligibility according to the NCAA?

There was never a rule saying you couldn't come back until LSU tried to bring 2 guys back.

I'm shocked Dellinger ran with this. LSU isn't getting expelled or fined or put on probation if they play a player THAT IS LEGALLY ALLOWED TO PLAY.
