F**k the B1G. We are where I want us to be. Love the SEC.

Notre Dame
Let's list off all the good and bad of it:
Good:
1. Money
2. Borders an SEC State
3. Would Really Piss off the Big10
4. I want them to see how a year is like in the SEC. (Best reason I can come up with)
5. No easy cakewalk to CFP sans a conference championship game
Bad:
1. Non fit
2. Their fans
I say do it.

That’s crazy okie st and Kansas are closer to the center of sec than unc Virginia or nc state. Imagine Raleigh NC being less sec than Lawrence Kansas by geography.

Trade out the Texas, OU, Aggies, and Mizzou
You realize half these teams have been in the SEC CCG more recently than Tennessee, right?

I feel like it will be FSU Clemson UNC and then Virginia and Vtech will fight to the death with a broken pool stick for our amusement to get the last spot ever offered.

After the Sorsby debacle, hope when all is said and done and the SEC/BIG break away from the NCAA and take some other schools with them, TT gets left out and relegated to essentially D2 status

RE: Notre Dame fans
I thought their fans were pretty great when UGA played them. Very knowledgeable and welcoming. One of the best away game experiences I've had.

Congrats on the participation trophy?

If we have to expand, I hope VT is on the list.
Why? What do they add? The ACC didn't even want them, but politicians in Richmond forced UVA to vote no, unless VA Tech was included.
They were good under Beamer, but basically suck in every other sport. Definitely the 3rd at best basketball program in the state.
UVA and UNC may not be good at football, but are good(great) in other sports, plus a big rivalry

Better fans, better environment, better away trips.
I understand they won't be considered for all the reasons you laid out, but purely as a fan they are a better option

Having lived in Richmond, they are not. During the Beamer years, they talked like they were football elete.
When I was back between 17-21, barely even talked on sports radio

Compared to UVA, UNC, NC State, etc they are 100x better.

This is dumbest statement ever.

Agree on FSU and Clemson but UNC does not fit in at all.
Edit: ^that is only if we are forced to.
There is no reason the SEC should expand again. Conference is great as it stands and anything beyond is just trying to chase money. Let’s try to preserve college football as much as possible and not chase money. Why do people want to dilute the product for money that doesn’t benefit the fans

Agree. What limited encounters I've had with ND fans, they were very kind and polite.
